Going to America

Leaving Kinta in charge of the houses and Yona's firm in charge of his finances Kitori followed Shiro to America . On the plane ride Shiro's and his uncle played happily and when Shiro slept his uncle worked. When they arrived in the United States they were met by a large group of children. This is Shiro's class from Japan. His teacher greets them.

"I am so happy you were able to join us on our field trip. Here is our itinerary for the next few days." She hands Shiro's uncle the schedule. He nods to the body guard to go with Shiro.

"Make sure that he is well taken care of while I have meetings. Alert me if anything happens ." Hugging Shiro one last time he takes his leave to attend to Business. Kitori watches longingly wanting to join them. Smiling he decides to shift into a student and join the fun. This way he can interact with Shiro more and learn a few of the things that Yona says he needs to know. Seeing the teacher lay down her list of students Kitori quickly adds his name. Seeing the bathroom he shimmers into a stall and shifts into a student. Looking at himself in the mirror he worries that he is to plain. After so many years of being the most handsome , it is strange to see himself as a plain boy. At least he will be able to blend in and hopefully not be noticed much. Running out to join the group to start his adventure. They pile into a bus Kitori sits with Shiro.

"You are new I do not remember you." Shiro looks at Kitori. Wondering who he is.

"Yes I joined the class the day we left for the trip. I am Kit , it is nice to meet you. " Kitori holds his hand out to Shiro. Shiro smiles broadly and takes it. Kitori increases the bond he has with him so he will be able to sense any changes in him. Noticing the teacher looking at them Kitori closes his eyes and casts a enchantment.

"You will only see what is needed. I have always been here and you will forget me when I'm gone." Kitori pushes these thoughts into the minds of those on the bus. This way no one will find it strange that he is here. A vision of the goddesses flash in his mind.

"I'm sorry goddesses but I will need to hide from you for a short while. I do not think you will approve of my using my gifts unnecessarily. " Kitori meditates on the way to the hotel cutting off the bond with the goddesses for this short time. This way no one will recognize him as a fox . Though he may appear as a demon to supernatural beings. Hoping that he will remain obscure and hidden. When they arrive at the hotel Kitori makes a point of asking to share a room with Shiro. Hoping to strengthen their bond and thus helping to heal his body. Thankfully Morrigan gave him his soul bead when she left him last time. If Shiro gets to sick Kitori can just give him the bead. It is only to be given in life or death situations that is why Morrigan kept it for so many years. Worried that Kitori would give to freely.

"Shiro what do you like to do when you are at home?" Kitori asks the boy.

"I love to spend time with my family mostly. My father and uncles are close and we spend a great deal of time together. I like archery and martial arts. Though at times I am to weak to do them. What do you do?" Shiro's face brightened at the thought of making a new friend one that does not seem to care if he is rich or sick.

"Except for a few servants I have always spent most of my time alone. Though I long for a true friend and family I just have not found it yet. " Kitori smiles weakly at the boy thinking about how sad his life must be to those who would only see him as a human.

Surprising Kitori, Shiro walks over to him and hugs him tightly.

"I know about loneliness and not having true friends. I will be yours and I'm sure my family will let you become one of us. " Shiro smiles into the darkness of Kitori's eyes not understanding why he feels so close to him.

Kitori hugs him back tightly feeling his heart is struggling he sends a wave of healing energy through him. When he feels his heartbeat get back to normal he releases him.

"Let's get some rest they are taking us to a museum tomorrow and we will need to be able to walk a lot." Kitori gets his clothes and heads into the bathroom for a shower. Luckily he was able to manifest some clothing before they left the airport. Pulling his phone out he checks in with Yona so no one gets worried.

"Yona do you know any good restaurants in Washington DC?" Kitori asks him.

"I do , I will text you a few. When are you coming so I can meet you ? I am less than an hour away from there." Yona tells him.

"I don't know yet I will let you know. You know me I take a long time to decide things. Umm how is everyone doing it has been such a long time since I have seen you and them?" Kitori asks sheepishly hoping that all is ok.

"She is doing well, you would know if something was wrong. You know that you can visit anytime. In any form you are comfortable with my family would not mind." Yona reminds him.

"I know but I cannot influence her feelings towards me when she is so young. She has to decide as an adult so it is better this way. Though a only have a few more years until it's time. Just remember to do what I asked." Kitori reminds Yona of his promise. Hanging up he goes back to the room Shiro is already asleep . Sighing Kitori lays down to sleep dreaming of his past life and those he was with.
