Early Enrolement

Alek retracts the bow to an upright position, Samuel still glowers at him with shrewd eyes. Alek didn't make any sudden movement as the man in front of him looked even scarier than how he looked before, this might be due to the illustration given by Racquel and Orchid on his fight with Jake.

'If he could take Jake out in a few seconds then he would be dead in less than one.' Swallowing as the thought crosses his mind.

They both look at Alek's reaction and start to laugh, Racquel takes in that she might have ruined their relationship, so before he never talks to her again, she had to get in the middle of this, before Alek soils himself.

"Samuel! Stop scaring him," she says as she wipes a tear from the edge of her eye. He pats Alek's shoulder indicating to him to calm down.

Samuel's eyes turn into two crescents that two boys were stunned by, the instant change from villain to hero really strummed at their heartstrings. They realized that he actually looked super good, the closer they got a better look at his face, they realize that he might be the best-looking guy they have ever seen.

They both avert their eyes, it was blinding, a smile like that could give anyone a heart attack. She looks at them both bizarrely wondering why they had a sudden change of mien.

"I actually came here to ask you something." his gaze lands on Orchid, noticing this Orchid furrowed his brows

"Me?" he wonders what does someone of his stature has to ask him. He has never met him before and even in the arena, he blacked out so he was not really there to witness what went down. He only heard of him from Racquel, she usually complains that he was really annoying when he came home from the military on the weekends.

"Samuel, he said he couldn't, I already did ask him about it." she says expecting him to ask Orchid about the whole water thing not being an illusion.

"Do you want to join the military?" he asks him stunning the three of them. He stares at him with an unsmiling face waiting for his reply.

"Samuel, stop joking, why would you ask him that, he hasn't even finished school yet." she stares daggers at him, his look didn't drift, still staring at Orchid.

"Uhm, sorry sir I am not looking to enter the military yet" he replies wondering why was he trying to recruit someone like him, he was too weak, what would he even be able to do, he would slow everyone down. He didn't want to be a burden anymore.

"Boy, opportunities don't come again once they leave, be sure to think about it." as he says that he turns and walks out of the entrance of the building, the three were stunned, Racquel runs after him to give him a piece of her mind.

'Why would you joke about this' Racquel rushes to him.

Alek looks back at Orchid and interrogates him on what did he do to get such an offer, these kinda things are not easily given to even graduates, not to mention he hasn't even graduated from school.

"Do you know him personally?"

"This is the first time I met him," he replies, contemplating why he would put forward such an offer.

'Should I join?' he dismisses it as wishful thinking and changes the topic entirely.
