chapter 8

Before I woke up I felt a hand on my face, and angry voices screaming at each other. Again I threw the pillow across the room and the voices died out. " Leah honey are you alright.

As I sat up I noticed Steven in the corner with Aurora and jazz nevaeh was standing beside me with distaste and something else in her eyes. " what happened?" I asked as I felt pain shoot up my body up into my neck.

That's when everything came back, the wolf and the biting. 

My eyes went wide with fear.

" y-you marked me?"

He nodded with a sad but determined look on his face.

That's when I completely lost it. 

I screamed and jumped out of bed and started hitting him with my fist.

Different voices yelled my name but I ignored them and kept at it.

He suddenly grabbed me and again threw me over his shoulder and stalked out the room with me punching him.

As we walked through the same room as earlier I started freaking out. 

" please don't I'm sorry I promise I won't hit again I'll be obedient! I said as he sat on the bed with my on his lap. I squirmed and tried to get off him but he held me tightly to him.

" Leah stop moving or so God help me.

I pouted as he chuckled.

" Leah I'm so sorry for marking you I thought you could handle it. Your mom and father told me if I marked you, that it would hurt but it would except you. As he talked more I could tell he regretted what he had done.

" Leah do you feel anything, anything at all?" 

" I feel more at ease and sometimes I hear more than just one person talking which is very annoying no offence or anything but yea I feel fine.

" Ryan."

" um what?" I asked as he stroked my hair." That's my name Ryan!" 

" oh um you already know my name." 

" I heard what you told your parents about Derek."

My head snapped up at him when he said the name.

" he is still alive but he is busy right now to visit. He is going to be our beta I know how you're friendship is with him and I won't stand between that just promise you won't cheat on me.

" um OK but I don't even know you tho so um."

I looked down and started playing with my hands.

"Leah when you ran off how did you survive without your wolf?"

" my parents gave me money before I left, um and I kinda picked out from dumpsters and I stayed in a warehouse with a few people, and then I came to Chicago and met Mary and lived with her and went to school met some pretty cool friends and now I met my parents again and I also met you." I said while blushing slightly at the last part.

As we sat there he held me and told he some things about him.

His favorite food was ribs and meat which was weird cuz we were wolfs.

He also like rock music and also some light music. He loved to run around in his wolf form then to spend time with his mate which got me blushing again.

After we talked about each other he looked up at his clock and said it was time for dinner. As we walked down the hallway and stairs to the dinning room table he held on to my hand and wouldn't let go.

I blushed even more as we stepped into the dinning room. eyes turned toward us as we stood there for a minute then walked to our seat he showed me where to sit as he pulled out the chair then pushed me slowly to sit down, as he went to the other side over the long table and sat down and stared back at me.

After the dinner a couple of people stayed and congratulated me, and walked off as Ryan walked towards me. "That was lovely" I said as he took my hand and lead me upstairs.

We came to a door and he opened it to reveal a queen size bed with two dressers on either side against the wall, and a TV on the wall and a book case against the door with a lot of fiction, nonfiction, and some mystery and thriller. At the side of the room a door was open to reveal some light from a large grey bathroom and another door which led to a walk in closet.

" omg this is so awesome, is this my room?"

He chuckled at my reaction and beamed at me while I ran and dived in the comfortable sheets 

" Leah do you want to stay here, or do you want to go back and live with Mary?"

" Umm I don't know."

Well when you have made your mind up tell me alright." 

" Ryan why did you kidnap me?" He looked everywhere but at me.

I grabbed his hand and he slowly looked at me, I saw tears threatening to fall. " I didn't want you to reject me I got scared I freaked I thought you would run away from me and hate me!" 

As he said those words he started to cry I grabbed him and let him hold me. " I won't reject you I just need time to let it sink in."

He looked up at me and sniffed, as he put his face in my neck.
