Lu Nanfeng Leaves

While Lu Nanfeng and He Lixue were spending every moment of the day together, Lin Xulian was full of frustration and anger. 

How could Lu Nanfeng be so blinded by a little hoof who clung onto him so tightly? She had seen that they were almost glued together all day, how could he not get tired of her? 

When Lin Xulian and Lu Nanfeng were young, she had often tried to be close to him, but he would always try to avoid her. The more clingy she became, the more annoyed and angry Lu Nanfeng would be.

How could he now accept this He Lixue, who was hanging on to him without caring for her face? They were not even married yet, but cohabiting! They had only known each other for a short time, but they were already inseparable. 

She could not control her jealousy, as she started thinking about how to deal with He Lixue. She had initially planned on getting someone to splash her with sulfuric acid, destroy her face and see her being abandoned by Lu Nanfeng. Still, after visiting Di Zhiqing, she heard that he was going on a business trip abroad the following week. 

This was much better if Lu Nanfeng came back and found that He Lixue had vanished, would he not just think that she had abandoned him? 

This would be the best time to make a move against He Lixue and remove her once and for all. 

But she had to figure out a way to get rid of her bodyguards. Even if Lu Nanfeng left for a period of time, she still had two bodyguards around. Lin Xulian could never defeat them.

But Lin Xulian was not willing to just let it be; she was not willing to see Lu Nanfeng and He Lixue so pleased and happy with themselves. She wanted to shatter their happiness. 

Lin Xulian would often follow He Lixue and Lu Nanfeng, her face would be full of unwillingness and frustrations, and it was not only He Lixue who noticed her when she was searching the surveillance cameras, but Mister Jiang also found her tracing them.

A sinister smile appeared on his lips. He suddenly had a great plan.

"Lixue, I need to go now," Lu Nanfeng said as he looked at the sleeping woman in his arms. He had not even been close to growing tired of her after spending so many days alongside her. Instead, he was much more in love with her than he had been before. 

Seeing her nestle in his arms like a small kitten, his heart softened completely, and he placed a kiss on her forehead. 

Slowly he managed to leave the bed without waking up the small woman. He stood and looked at her for some time, with tenderness oozing out of his eyes. He finally sighed and found some clothes before he entered the bathroom to wash up.

He was as quiet as he could, in an attempt at not waking up He Lixue, and when he came back out, he saw that she was still deeply asleep. 

Lu Nanfeng's hand gently caressed He Lixue's cheek, and when he felt the soft touch under his fingers, it was as if electricity had gone through his skin.

Smiling at himself, he withdrew his hand, bent over, and placed a kiss on her forehead.

He took Assistant Zhang with him on the business trip and left Assistant Hui in charge of He Lixue. He would help her with everything she might need help with, especially since he would be gone for a whole week. 

He did not think that He Lixue would look after herself. Hence he left Assistant Hui to be at her beck and call. 

It was a Sunday, so He Lixue did not have to go to work, and Lu Nanfeng unwillingly left the flat. He was unwilling to be separated from He Lixue, but he understood that it was necessary to go to work and deal with these things. 

And as the idiom said, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Hopefully, she would miss him.

It took a few hours before He Lixue woke up, and when she did, she could instantly feel that the man who usually lay by her side was gone. Even the other side of the bed was cold.

A sudden sense of loss flashed by in He Lixue's heart, but it quickly vanished again. Although He Lixue liked Lu Nanfeng very much, she was not living solely for his sake. 

Since she was alone today and had just been paid the week before, she decided that she should go shopping. Maybe she could even buy a tie for Lu Nanfeng. 

And thus, she contacted assistant Hui to inquire about Lu Nanfeng's favorite colors and brands. 

Assistant Hui was not dumb, he instantly guessed He Lixue's plans, but pretended not to, and quickly answered all her questions. Eventually, he could not help but say, "Miss He, if it is bought by you, CEO Lu will love it no matter what."

Hearing this, He Lixue blushed slightly but felt happy. She called the two bodyguards and made her way towards the car. 

The two bodyguards were slightly late that day, their eyes were extra alert, and He Lixue could not help but frown. What was happening? 

"Is something the matter?" she asked, as she could sense the small changes in their behavior, but both of them just shook their heads and almost pushed He Lixue into the car. 

The car then began driving down the streets, but after driving for ten minutes, He Lixue frowned. 

"This is not the way to the shopping mall," she said uncertaintly. She was not sure what was going on, but something was wrong.
