Chapter 32

The next morning I woke up and got ready ,the house was busy everyone moving up and down . "Anashe come on dear come help us prepare some laddus ," my aunt said waving me over ,I walked to where they were and sat next to aunt Malika . "Anashe meet our neighbors ," aunt said .

"Namaste,"I said folding my hands smiling , "Namaste ," they replied too .

"My daughter is your biggest fan if I had known you were here I would have brought her with me ," one woman said , "You can call her over you live close by so you can invite her the more the merrier ," I said . "By the way what's the special occasion?" I asked, the house was being decorated and everyone was busy doing one thing or another , "Your potential in-laws are coming to see you and you are getting engaged if I don't get you engaged now you will never get married ," Aunt Malika said looking serious , "What?!Oh no you are joking right ," I said with my eyes wide .All the ladies looked at me with serious expressions , "No I don't want to get married ," I said looking at aunt.They all laughed , "I am just joking ,It's Mrs. Singh's daughter, Tanu's henna ceremony they would have done it at home but there are more guests coming than expected so we offered to host the henna at our house since there is enough space to accommodate everyone ," aunt said .

"Oh so that means a lot of people will be here in a few hours and no one told me that ,I don't even have an outfit to wear ,"I said , "Don't worry yourself my sister I got you an outfit that I think you will love," my cousin said as she sat next to me holding a box .

The henna ceremony had begun downstairs but I was still in my room ,getting ready .I looked at myself in the mirror and I looked so beautiful ,I took my camera and clicked pictures and mirror pictures .I was all set and made my way downstairs where everyone was dressed so colorfully and beautifully ,the bride was in the middle of the hall getting her henna done while others interacted and music was being played ,I walked to the bride , "Tanu!" I said sitting next to her . "Hi ," she said while looking at her henna and admiring it , "Your henna looks so beautiful ," I said smiling , "Thank you," she said looking at me and she screamed loudly ,everyone looked our way while Mrs Singh quickly came towards us, "Anika ,Anashe!" she said in shock ,she screamed again this time hugging me .

"Tanu you frightened me ,silly girl ," Mrs Singh said smiling , some girls came our way and asked to take pictures with me , "Let me take a picture with the bride and groom first ,she is the bride after all ," I said .We took pictures with Tanu and her grooms and other people then I also got my henna done too .

"Come on guys we can't be having a quiet henna ceremony like this we need to be dancing and singing like our lives depend on it ," my cousin sister said turning the music up . "Let's dance !" she said dancing to the music ,pulling Tanu to dance with her too as they were dancing I got a group video call from BTS ,so I excused myself and went up to my room to answer the call .

"Heyy!"I said waving at them , "Hey Anashe ," they replied .

"Wow you look beautiful is that an indian attire?" Taehyung asked .

"Yes indian attire ,thank you ."

"Are you not home?"Jungkook asked looking closer at the screen to see my background clearly , "Yes I am not ,I am home in india ," I said sitting on the bed .

"You look beautiful in your cultural clothes ,it suits you ," Jimin said .

"Thank you jimin," I said .

"You are in india ,oh yeah I heard that you are on a hiatus .So you planning to enjoy sometime with your family ,that's nice," Namjoon said .

"Yes it is ,I missed them so much and there is a wedding do you want to see the event it's fun ,I promise I won't show anyone that I am talking to you ," I Said excited.

"Yes please I want to see everything, " Jin said sounding excited.

"Okay what have you been up to for the past months ," I said walking downstairs ,

"Music ," Yoongi said .

"Hoseok hyung has not been feeling well ," Jungkook said .

"Really what's the problem ?"

"He has been vomiting a lot and he says everything either tastes bad or smells bad ," Taehyung said .

"Could it be corona virus ?" I asked concerned .

"Maybe went to get tested still waiting for results ,"Hoseok said .

"You are glowing and you look beautiful ," Yoongi said .

"You of all people are saying that to me ,say it again," I said .

"Don't push it ," he warned .

"PLEASE!"

"Anashe,"he said again.

"Yoongi oppa," I said trying to be cute.

Other members were laughing , I turned the camera around and showed them the event , "wOW,"said some of the members .

"It's beautiful right ,look at my cousin sister dance ,wooh go Cuzy!" I said cheering for her .

"I wish I was there ,it is so beautiful ," Jimin said .

"don't worry one day you will come to India and be part of our unique ceremonies ," I said .

We talked more as I showed them around and made people wave at them without knowing that it was them ,I explained most of the things and their significance. We then said our goodbyes and quickly went to my cousins who were sitting together ,they were Armys/Armies .

"Guess who I was talking to ?" I said standing in front of them .

"Cinderella ," Fakir said laughing .

"You are so mean ,no terrible guess I was talking to all of your husbands ," I said pointing at my cousin sisters .

"Our husbands?"

"Yes …oh my my my oh my my my how can we land so fast with a boy in love,"I sang the lyrics wrongly but they understood and screamed loudly standing up and jumping at me , "Ahh no ways ,you are lying !" one of them said .

"Nope I am not ," I said showing our call log . One of them pretended to faint , " call them again!" one said . "Ah no ,you remember that one time I asked you to call Ayesha for me because I was stuck and you refused saying you were out of bundles but you very well knew that you had bundles you lied simply because you were saving it to talk to your boyfriend well me too I am saving it to talk to my boyfriends," I said walking away ,they followed me and kept on begging me to call them but I bluntly refused ,I did it out of spite and vengeance.

The henna ceremony was over and everyone was getting ready for bed, I was darn tired but I knew that I wasn't going to sleep at this time so I told everyone to meet me at the lounge .I was the second last one to arrive , "where is aunt Malika ?" I asked looking around for her . " I am here I needed to put on my beauty mask ," she said coming in wearing a face mask .

"Okay so everyone here knows that I am a woman of many talents ,right?"

"Yes."

"Well I am so talented I managed to get pregnant out of wedlock to someone who I have never dated or planning to date and he doesn't know I am pregnant," I said backing away from them slowly .

"You got what ?" dad asked confused, "Dad it was purely a mistake and I am sorry ," I said .

"Pregnant ," aunt said .

"Is that why you called us here ,I thought you were dying or something ," my cousin sister said . "Aren't you mad?" I asked looking at my aunts and father. "Anashe we knew you were pregnant the minute you stepped foot into this house ," aunt said .

"What?!"

"Well not exactly the minute you walked in but like we suspected you were pregnant in the morning when you were sitting next to us and when you hugged me last night ,your stomach is a little visible and you have the pregnancy glow ,you were eating mushrooms which you absolutely hate .Don't worry not everyone knows that only us your family because we know our Anashe so well ," Dad said explaining to me ,he was a doctor afterall,

"And you are not mad?"

"No we tried to be but no ,Anashe you are grown up ,Anashe you are a 25 year old woman who has accomplished great success in her years of working ,we are so proud of you that we look up to you .You were a mother before to our little angel Zhang and you being pregnant with another child isn't that much of a big deal because we know you are an amazing mother and you will do well ," my aunt said everyone agreeing with her .

"The part which I don't like is the father not knowing and also you not being in a relationship with this guy does that mean you not marrying the father of your child ," dad asked .

"Children," I corrected him.

"Children?Wait how many kids are you carrying ?" Fakir asked.

I raised two fingers of mine smiling nervously , "You are pregnant with twins?!!" Dad asked .

"Yes."

"Oh God he left you with not one but 2 babies ,who is he?" dad asked again.

"uhm it's a him ,he has a name that I would like to keep to myself for privacy and safety reasons ," I said.

"Privacy!he should have thought about that before giving you 2 babies ," aunt said .

"Anashe," dad warned .

"I won't tell you all please don't push me into saying his name please," I said .

"Is it cinnamon guy?"

"Who is cinnamon guy?"

"None of your business ," I quickly said warning dad with my eyes , "PLease tell us !" my cousins begged , "As she said none of your business," dad said.

"Thank you for understanding and good night," I said running up the stairs to avoid more questions, "Don't run on the stairs it's not good for the little monkeys!" Aunt shouted .

"I love you too," I shouted before closing my door and getting into bed .
