"This isn't a joke, Jin-A!" Tae-Oh said through gritted teeth. This was what he had always wanted, but now that she was saying it, he couldn't help feeling angry that it was coming for the wrong reasons.
"Do I look like I'm joking? I'm here to stay, and the earlier you realize that the better for us both. Let's eat before the food gets cold," Jin-A said as she resumed eating, but Tae-Oh grabbed her hand.
"You weren't willing to get married to me some weeks ago, and now you want to? What changed?" Tae-Oh asked with narrowed eyes.
"You changed. Everything has changed," Jin-A said, flailing her hand around helplessly.
"Yes, I changed, and I'm sorry, but the offer is no longer on the table. I'm no longer in the mood to get married," Tae-Oh said as he pushed away from the table and stood up.
