Chapter 1

A country pub is a busy place in A city. As it is Friday night, it is buzzing with a lot of people.

Few people are dancing to their content and some people are drinking to their heart's content.

In all the buzz, one woman is shining brightly in her white dress.

Her body is so white even the moon becomes dull. Her eyes are black and beautiful with long eyelashes. Her lips are thin, and red. Looks like she smeared just a small lip balm. 

Her neck is long, and her clavicle is so tempting.

Her hair is long and luscious. She made her hair into a messy bun.

She has long legs and a thin waist. Totally, she is a killer beauty.

Her name is Evelyn. Evelyn Miller.

Evelyn entered the pub and looked like she was looking for someone.

She looked all over the pub, and she did not get the person.

She took out her phone and dialled her number.

But she could not get through the number.

Evelyn felt frustrated.

She must pee urgently. She is holding it all through her cab journey.

First, she should empty her bladder.

Evelyn went to the toilet.

She went to the washroom and completed her nature call.

She went to the bathroom sink. She started scolding her friend.

She is the one who asked her to go there, and she did not arrive on time.

"This Jane. She is always late. Does she know anything about punctuality? This woman is so negligent. I hate this wine smell. This is making me nauseous."

"This woman is not bothered to even call me and tell me that she is late."

"Is she coming or not?"

She corrected her hair and came out of the washroom.

She again tried to take her phone from her purse. When she lowered her head and tried to check her purse, she could not see the person who was coming.

But the unexpected happened.

She hit a man who was coming with red wine in his hand.

When she raised her head, it struck the glass and all the wine from the glass spilled on the man's white shirt, face, and neck.

Evelyn knows she has done something stupid. She closed her eyes at once. Of course, every person will close their eyes when they have done something wrong, expecting it to disappear from there. But the mistake she has made will not disappear from there right.

She had to pay for it.

Evelyn slowly opened her eyes and raised her head to look at the man's face.

The red wine stained his face. It became red like a monkey's butt.

His skin blended with the red colour. He is so fair and so handsome.

His eyes are black and are emitting cold Aura. Of course, he was so angry.

His neck and shirt were also stained with red wine.

Evelyn did not know what to do.

The man stood there silently. He did not say anything or do anything.

Evelyn hurriedly took her handkerchief from her purse.

She started dabbing the red wine on his shirt and started apologizing.

"I am so sorry. I did not intend to do this. I was looking for my phone and could not see you coming. It was an accident."

"Please forgive me."

She raised her feet to clean his neck. He is more than six feet, and she is just five feet eight inches.

So, to reach him she had to stand on her toes.

She cleaned his neck and next reached his face.

When she was about to clean his cheeks, the man caught her hand. He did not allow her to clean.

He said, "what are you doing?"

His voice is so cold that it could freeze all the lakes in A city.

Evelyn also froze when she listened to him. She is already a very timid girl. When she listened to his voice she was scared.

She said in a stammering voice, "I am trying to clean. I am so sorry."

This man, why is he so cold and angry? Is he angry because she spilled the wine. Or is he always the same.

The man said, "How can you clean the wine stains on the shirt? Don't you know wine stains do go away? Also, this is a white shirt. How can you clean it with cloth?"

Oh! So red wine stains do not go away.

She said, "I am so sorry. I do not know much about wine. I do not drink."

"I don't know what to do."

"She opened her purse and took out the money. She said, "Please accept my apology and take this money. I will compensate for the shirt."

She thought the man was angry because she spoiled his shirt.

So, she thought she could make him cool by offering money.

The man became angrier. He said, "Do you think I cannot afford a shirt?"

"Do you know who I am? And you want to wash away your sin with money?"

"Do you think money can do everything? Or do you get money so easily that you want to buy everything with it?"

Ah!!!

What? Sin? Isn't it a big word for this incident? This is just a mistake.

What is this man talking about? She thought he would calm down if she compensated him for the shirt.

But this man is talking too much. Anyway, she has made a mistake. She must endure it.

He got offended when she offered him money.

She sighed and said, "Sir, I am so sorry, and I cannot take it back."

"I will buy you a new shirt. Please give me your address, I will courier it."

She thought she could send it to his home. She does not want to see his face at all. She seemed very cold and intimidating.

The man said, "You will buy a new shirt for this shirt. What about the stains which are on my neck and face?"

"How will it go away?"
