Chapter 18: Nura Clan Meeting.

While Daruma was explaining what happened during the hunt for Gagoze happily and explaining how Rikuo defeated Gagoze in a single move.

When Nurarihyon heard how Rikuo killed Gagoze and declared he would become the third heir, he felt proud.

"As expected of the young lord."

"What do you expect? It is only natural since he carries our supreme lord's blood in him."

"Gagoze got what he deserved. How dare he betray our Nura clan."

"It's a good thing he died. I always hated him and his ugly smile."

Hearing the story, yokai leaders of the various alliances started to express their opinions on eliminating Gagoze.

This yokai is a single-eyed Hitotsume yokai with a bald head and long black beard; his name is Hitotsume Nyudo.

He was the leader of the single-eyed demon clan, which was an alliance with the Nura clan. He is one of the Nurarihyon original night parade members.

"Nura Rikuo will succeed me as the third heir. That's my final decision."

Hearing Nyudo question Nurarihyon, took a sip of the tea in his hand and replied calmly.

"I..."

Before Nyudo could complain about this, he was stopped by Nurarihyon's sharp gaze that fell on him.

"Now there is another important thing we need to inform you guys about."

Seeing Nyudo become silent, Nurarihyon sighed and started to inform them about the other things.

"You guys have already noticed the new mysterious house that emerged out of nowhere."

When the mysterious house was mentioned, everybody in the meeting hall listened attentively, including Nyudo.

Because they already felt the impact of the fear emitted from that mysterious house, which is very strong even for strong yokai like themselves.

Sigh...

"From now on, don't try to do anything to the house or its owners. They are our Nura clan allies. So from now on, you guys are forbidden from visiting that place with any funny thoughts..."

Karasu, who got the signal from Nurarihyon to continue after him, started to speak while looking at everyone with a serious expression on his face.

While saying the last part, Karasu shuddered when the thought of him being captured by the monster house came to his mind.

Rikuo was lying in his futon unconscious.

While Wakana was sitting beside him and checking his body from time to time for any signs of unwell.

Rikuo's eyes started to flutter and opened slowly and looked around.

'Where am I?... Ouch ~ my head hurts... Why does this ceiling look very familiar?... Ah~ wait, I am in my room!'

Suddenly his eyes widened in realization and he got up from the futon in panic.

"Rikuo! What happened? Are you fine? Are you feeling unwell?"

Seeing Rikuo woke up in panic, Wakana asked worriedly.

"Mom! My friends are in danger. I need to save them."

Hearing his mom's concern, Rikuo began to panic that his friends were in a panic.

"Don't worry, dear. They are safe. You saved them."

Looking at the worried look on her son's face, Wakana assured him that his friends were safe.

"What do you mean by I saved them, Mom?"

Hearing Wakana mention he saved his friends, Riku became confused and asked her.

Kejoro, who heard their conversation when she heard the loud voice of Rikuo to check on him, put her hand on her mouth in surprise.

Not only had their young lord reverted to his human form, but he even lost his memories during the transformation into his yokai self.

When Rikuo heard Kejoro's comment, he became even more confused.

According to his memory, he was arguing with the clan members to go and save his friends and then blanked.

When she remembered Leo, her cheeks slightly turned red, and she took the lunch box and gave it to Rikuo.

Rikuo took the lunch box without any thought and started eating the food in it.

When he took a bite, Rikuo's eyes lit up and started devouring the food like there was no tomorrow.

With a satisfied smile, Rikuo patted his slightly swollen belly.

Riku shook his head and went to freshen up before meeting his friends.

"Oh, Sasami, you have done a good job guarding the house from any yokai entering. From today onwards, you don't need to be guarded there."

Seeing Sasami was the one who arrived, Nurarihyon informed her that her guard duty was finished.

But Sasami's eyes looked bloodshot with dark circles under her eyes, and she looked distracted.
