Hunted

It was early the next morning; Margo hadn't been able to sleep after being locked out of her and Cora's bedroom last night. She heard Cora get up and start moving around and went in the kitchen to start on her mate's breakfast.

Cora came down the stairs craving a cup of coffee. She saw Margo heating water for blood and ignored her still pissed off with her mate's dismissive manner from the night before. Margo was watching her prepare the coffee then add creamer pods and sugar from the cupboard.

"Sweets, that is going to upset your stomach."

"No, it won't. You don't know everything, Margo."

Margo threw her hands up and flopped onto a seat in the sitting room. Cora stood in the kitchen sipping her coffee with a look of bliss on her face. Margo was waiting for the shoe to drop any minute now. Cora would clutch her stomach and run to the bathroom.
