Homecoming

Margo stepped off the plane into the Paris airport. Other than the six hours she had spent there last year, she had not been back to France in four hundred years. She and Antione had been driven out all those years ago when they tried to combine the Atlas clan with the Paris clan. If successful Louis would have been usurped as the leader.

Neither Margo nor Antione had expected the level of resistance that Louis had put up leaving them unprepared to defend against it. In the end they had been driven out of France to the new world. They were banned from returning on pain of death.

Margo strolled toward the security checkpoint wondering where she should start looking. Paris was a huge place. She couldn't help but feel discouraged before even getting started knowing she had nothing to go on other than Antione's vague claim that he was in Paris. How was she going to find them?
