Chapter 41: Life Imitates Art

Seeley relaxed further into the warm bubbling water as she thought about what her grandmother had written in her journals on the location of the sunken galleon—the Charm of Tucunia. It was a detailed topographical map, complete with depths, changes in water currents, and even what marine life grew on the ocean floor, hard and soft corals, various animals crustaceans and tropical fish, and even sea turtles up to a certain depth.

There was no drawing of a boat, just a general outline of a boat shape, and one word circled above it, ‘cradle’. Perhaps that was what the other person in the party, Mr. Monroe, had sketched down. The problem with her grandmother’s piece of the puzzle lay in its strength.

It was too detailed. It was a very small section of a vast ocean and she had flipped through the journal countless times searching for anything that could give away where this small stretch of the ocean floor was located, but she found nothing.
