It took a long, hot shower, a cider, and listening to more than a few songs of somewhat embarrassing emo rock music for the copper-haired diver to center herself and get a grip.
If Colton had her grandmother’s journals, it was probably because he needed something out of them, and unlikely he was going to destroy them. And she doubted he would sell them because who would want to buy them?
She racked her brain trying to remember what she eavesdropped from Colton and remembered he mentioned a geek with glasses was going to get what he wanted.
What if it had to do with her journals?
It sounded outrageous, but what else could it be? Her mother did go into some research in her journals about the Tucunia Pink Dolphins, maybe it had something to do with that?
