Witnessing The Growth Of The Company
The work trip began with the group of staff boarding the bullet train early in the morning. All expenses were paid by the company. They just had to bring their own money if they wanted to do some shopping.
Like the rest of the group, Hisaki and Heisuke were high in excitement. They left Konomiya Town after asking for Shuuya's help to look after Mrs. Saeki. The couple also had notified their close neighbors about the same matter.
"Enough ah. You treat me like a child. Go now."
Mrs. Saeki was exasperated when Heisuke kept reminding her to always check on the door and windows before going out or sleeping. He earned a playful smack on his back before his mother shooed him away.
Hisaki could only laugh in helplessness. She understood why her old man was so worried but it was still funny.
The group reached the capital train station in the afternoon. A bus was already waiting for them before bringing the employees to their lodgings.
