Chavu had been mashing the soap for quite some time. It was hard work, but he found that, as he listened to Gregory sing from the side, it was not too hard of a task.
On a different cooking pit, Marcellus was heating some water to add the glycerin to. The vampire would check it every so often, to make sure that it was not going to boil.
Once steam began to rise from the water, Marcellus used a finger to test it. He took it off the fire and placed the glycerin bucket inside the large cylinder. The vampire stirred the mixture, and he waved at Chavu.
"Things are done on my end," he told him. Chavu looked down at his own lumps of soap. More, he couldn't blend it, even if he wanted to. He shrugged, and went to get some mittens to get some water-glycerin mixture so that he could delude the clunky soap.
By the time they were done, there were lumps of soap swimming in the gel. Chavu just hoped that the lumps would really dissolve.
