At the moment they saw Jiang Chengxuan, the members of the Sacred Skeleton Sect's faces drastically changed. Jiang Chengxuan's identity and appearance were notoriously well-known within the sect; he was essentially their arch-enemy.

He saw Jiang Chengxuan's surprise upon recognizing them but also noted that Jiang Chengxuan had not attacked them yet. This led him to suspect there was more to the situation than met the eye.
