Chapter 131: Market Pursuit

Ling Tianyu looked at Duan Yanran, who had a pained expression on her face, and quickly scooped her up, placing her on the sofa in the office. He then took her right hand and checked her pulse.

After making sure her pulse was stable, he finally exhaled in relief.

"Ouch!" Duan Yanran's stunning face was full of pain; the cramp in her calf was excruciating.

"Where does it hurt?" Ling Tianyu, hearing her cries of pain and feeling extremely anxious, quickly asked.

"My calf cramped up." Duan Yanran pointed to her right calf and said, wondering why she had gotten a cramp out of nowhere. She hadn't been exercising strenuously; she had simply been sitting for a prolonged period.

Ling Tianyu knelt on one knee, lifted her right calf with both hands, and rolled up her pants to look at her slender, tender calf. He couldn't help but take an extra look, for he was a man after all, and couldn't help but take a few extra glances at such a beautiful woman—he wasn't a saint.
