Seeing Gu Yi'an say this, Qiao Fei didn't insist.
While reporting her own number, she laughed, "Miss Gu seems to be a nostalgic person. There are not many people using old Nokia models these days."
Gu Yi'an smiled but didn't respond. Instead, she closed the car door, stood outside, waved to Qiao Fei, and said, "Thank you, Miss Qiao. Goodbye."
Watching Qiao Fei's car leave, Gu Yi'an then quickly walked toward the hospital. As she walked, she entered Qiao Fei's number into her phone and sent a text with a smiley face emoticon, adding, "Thank you for giving me a ride, Gu Yi'an."
Shortly after, Qiao Fei replied with a text, "You're welcome."
Gu Yi'an put away her phone and didn't dwell on it. In the hospital, she was always focused on her work.
The hospital's outpatient building was usually busier in the morning, while the emergency room was generally not too hectic. Aside from handling some minor issues, Gu Yi'an spent her time reading professional books.
