"Why are you still up, mom? It's late." I said after a second of silence.

She smiled at me. I just woke up. I came to you to see if you even took a shower before going to sleep " I nodded.

"Thanks for checking mom. I only took a shower now because I fell asleep as soon as I arrived earlier. I forgot to take a shower or even change into a comfortable set of clothes before I doze off to sleep." I explained.

She now nodded.

She let me get dressed and said goodbye to go back to my daddy's room.

I still haven't lost my nerve while dressing. Later, I also laughed at my own stupidity.

Maybe if mommy hadn't spoken, I would have hit her with a bottle of shampoo.

Speaking of the bottle, I just realized I was still carrying it while dressing.

"Argh, I'm getting more and more paranoid everyday."

I laughed at my own realization.

After putting on a pair of comfortable yellow pajamas, I took the bottle with me to put it back in the bathroom.

"Oh, I even forgot about my phone." I said as I passed the sink and wondered if my phone was still there. I left because of my previous experience.

And I got paranoid for nothing.

While laughing, I turned off the light in the bathroom.

My stomach growled.

Oh, I guess my stomach is begging for food.

I was shaken as I left the room to look for what might be a midnight snack in the kitchen.

The lights are off because most of them are asleep. I just used my cellphone as a flashlight.

I turned on the lights when I reached the kitchen.

I went to the refrigerator, and there was a black forest cake in the freezer. I took a slice of no'n and put it on the saucer. I also transferred milk for someone to drink. I decided to eat in my room.

I turned off the lights in the kitchen first before climbing back into my room.

I didn't bring a tray. That's why I'm holding the slice of cake in my left hand and the milk in my right.

I had my cellphone in my pocket and I didn't have another hand to hold it and turn it into a light, so I just let it get dark. I was able to return to my room safely, unscathed and without colliding with the dark part of the hallway. I'm still laughing to myself, so I feel like a crazy person. I smile while eating, even though I'm the only one here.

After eating, I just put the used saucer and glass on the study table.

I'll just go down tomorrow because I'm too lazy to go out again. I'm not yet sleepy. Left with nothing to do, I've decided to check my emails to see if I still have things to finish. Or maybe my secretary has a report that she sent through my email.

There are only a few emails from unimportant senders.

Others are advertisements for various products. I ignored them because I wasn't interested. Suddenly, drowsiness visited me, so I closed the laptop.

I pulled it out of the socket and was about to put it away when I looked at the door and saw that it was open.

I closed it earlier?
