"I'm going home, brother." I just waited for you to finish your call to say goodbye.

Is that so? I can't deliver you anymore because I still have to finish something in my office.

"Driving safe, huh?"

He went to my seat to give me a soft kiss on the top of my head. My hair, specifically.

"I will." I answered.

He went out first with some belongings.

"Let's go." If you don't have anything else to do—go home. "

Camilla smiled at me.

"Thank you, Miss Aya. But I'll just finish some things and I'll go home afterwards. You go first."

"Oh, okay."

She led me out of the room. As he said, I would go home first, so I just went back to the office to get my bag.

I checked my face first using the mirror in my bathroom.

After making sure that I didn't have any evidence of being paranoid, I decided to take my leave immediately.

The hallway is not far from the elevator.

I just don't know why it feels like it's so far from my office today.

None of my own turned me down the path.

I look from behind and side by side. My brows furrowed because of the thought.

I let out a deep and long sigh. I ignored my thoughts and just took out my cell phone to entertain myself.

I parted a few strands of hair that were blocking my eyes.

I was trying hard to be busy with my phone when I felt another eerie feeling. The feeling of someone looking at you. And worse, now I feel like someone's behind me, or around me, or after me.

Trembling I put the cellphone back in the bag and looked around again.

Even though I had accelerated my walk earlier, I was only halfway to the elevator.

My heart beat faster.

With still trembling legs and knees, I hurriedly ran while still looking back. What the heck is happening?

Because I was wearing heels and I was not in front of the elevator, I stumbled.

"Ouch!"

I reached for my toes. It was painful and my little finger was already bleeding from being pinched when I fell.

I forced myself to stand up.

I picked my bag up and forced myself to reach for the elevator.

I heard a few footsteps now.

I ran even faster when I felt it was so close to me.

Several times, I have been mentally depressed because of the nervousness in my chest and the little finger that is bleeding.

I'm not even sure if it's about my toe finger or what.

"Oh my gosh!" I exclaimed when I reached the elevator's door.

I pressed it repeatedly while none of my own was going back and forth to the back and side to look.

"Oh, please work!"

A bead of tears dripped down my cheek when the elevator finally opened.

I hurried in there and immediately pressed the lobby button. I cried more when the elevator started moving.

The whole ride down to the lobby is peaceful.

When I got down, I was amazed to see what the people I met threw at me.

All of them are curious about my state.

But no one dared ask.

I hurriedly walked to the parking lot and just ignored the taps with a curious look on my face.

I don't care. I just want to go home.
