Maybe she can't wait for my response. Sure enough, she knows that I'm getting ready in the washroom.

I came out smiling, carrying the dress I had taken off. She returned my smile. "Wow! Miss Aya, your beauty isn't fading; you're even more beautiful in this outfit," she exclaimed.

I barely laughed.

"Thank you. You too, you look pretty too. "

Her cheeks flushed, and she smiled shyly.

It's better that I join you in the conference room. Some board members are already there.

"Okay. Let's go. "

I was guided out of the office. We quietly walked down the hall to the elevator.

This is my curiosity again.

Even though the elevator is not open yet, I don't know what immediately enters my mind. I know I'm not mistaken in what I've seen before.

What I just don't understand is why I seem to feel weird about that man.

"Are you all right, Miss Aya?"

I looked at Camilla.

There was a mix of concern and curiosity on her face because of my sudden silence.

Not that I'm talkative.

Maybe she felt a sudden change in my mood.

I sighed violently and shook her."I'm fine." "I said in a low and hesitant tone."

Then his forehead furrowed even more.

"Are you sure?" I seem to have noticed earlier that you are thinking deeply," she commented.

I stopped walking and faced her. She also stopped to wait for what I would say.

"Alright. A while ago, in the elevator, I know that I'm sure of what I saw. I won't doubt my eyes. I actually saw that man. I was still with him on the elevator. I just got off with him first, "I admit."

She frowned at me again.

"I'm sure there is no Lacson on the list of our engineers." "I double checked the list for confirmation. After you asked me, I asked the head engineer if there was a new hired engineer," she explained.

"Nothing."

I was even more confused.

I continued walking and she followed.

I just kind of feel something eerie about the guy. I don't know, maybe I'm just thinking too much nonsense." I said. "Never mind." We were both quiet when the elevator opened. She also dialed the floor number.

I was even stunned to enter there because of that thought.

I just followed her.

I can't count how many deep sighs I've let out.

Darn it.

When we both entered, we were both speechless.

I don't know why I suddenly felt the urge to look outside before the elevator closed.

And I did.

It was as if my heart was pounding before the elevator closed completely and I saw the man I was thinking about. I saw him standing in front of the elevator, still wearing the same old clothes as I had seen before.

He was looking at us and even wearing a mask, I knew he was smiling.

I trembled as I touched Camilla, who was in front of me near the elevator door.

"Camilla! Look!" I pointed outside the elevator.

"Huh?" she asked, confusedly. "Where? Who are you looking at there? "

I frowned at him and widened my eyes. "The guy I told you, that's hi-"

When I looked outside, there was no one there.

"Who is it?" There's no one, Miss Aya," she said, confused.
