Drift in time

Even though the golem was terrorizing the colony, it is the marines' responsibility to take care of the job. Marines made it clear that supernatural entities were their targets. Now that they have a lock on us, I guess we will have to escape 221 3C colony for good.

"Let's first focus on finding a new mentor. 500000 coins should be enough to hire one."Ester says.

"Money can't buy you the bonding like we had with Han. A new mentor will be selfish in his dealings with us." I say.

" What you say is understandable. You have never had the love of a family. Your mother died ages ago and your father left you as a baby. Han is the only one who gave you love."

"I am trying to keep my mind off of that."

"Better idea's to make one of us the mentor. Though we don't have the experience we have the bond of friendship." Rock said.

"We are rookies. How do you expect to survive with the marines hunting us." I proclaim.

"We have an option. We go to Earth and ask my father for money." says Ester.

"Yeah. We need all the power up we can get right now. Is your library doing well?" I ask.

"Yes. It is run by my father. He was a scientist who retired and opened his own library. He turned this library into one of the most hi tech libraries on Earth."

Huh a hi tech library should be a good place to gather information from.

"We will reach Earth. Don't know though how I will face my father. He sent me to promote our library in different planets of the galaxy. I end up becoming a mercenary. He will not accept me."

"He will accept you. You are happy here."

"Yeah. I developed psykik powers since childhood. And now I am using it to earn some cash."

Rock nodded.

We travel in our spaceship the Titan. It was maintained by sir Han. In his absence, it is being maintained by Rock.

We board the titan spaceship. Our spaceship will first travel to the warp hole in the Andromeda galaxy near our colony and use it to teleport near Earth.

The spaceship reaches the warp hole. On reaching it we are interrogated by the officials of the universal council of humans. We show them the pass Han gave us earlier. This pass allows us to travel freely in the universe without being arrested by the marines.

"Do you see that, M."

I see a marine spaceship docked nearby.

"A marine spaceship. What is it doing near the council's?"

A girl spoke to us. "This is a spaceship of the commander of the space marines. The council doesn't like them here. You guys should be going now, fast."

We enter the warp.

Inside the warp time flows like a river. We notice various flashes of light. We look at them with wonder. Then we hear sounds. Sounds of time flowing by.

" It will only take an hour. Very soon we will reach Earth."

We hear a loud boom behind us.

" Shit. Engine's on fire." reports Rock.

"How did it happen?"

"I am not an expert at maintenance maybe that's why. I must go and fix the engine."

"M. go with him"

We reach the engine.

"The engine could not survive the rift in time. It is beyond repair." says Rock.

"What now?"

"We go wherever the titan takes us." Rock said nervously
