Onju Martial Academy 4.

By the time realization hit the trainers team, they met themselves on the floor, struggling to stand up. Another shocking thing is that they met only Roshan, standing while holding the rope.

Lucas looked at Roshan with utter disgust. To him, Roshan is no less than an outcast. But now, he cannot help but wonder how Roshan was able to pull nine hefty men at once.

With a menacing look, he walked towards Roshan. Roshan's body trembled with fear, he had no explanation on how he was able to pull them.

Lucas stopped at his front, and faced him, making their eyes at the same level. Silence reigned between them, one with a malevolent glare on his face, while the other with a petrified look.

"Really?" Lucas remarked with a wicked smirk on his face. Roshan had no reply to whatever his master had just said. Just then, Lucas let out a hiss and walked away. The trainers on the floor stood up too and walked away in shame.

All Roshan could do at the moment was to breath in and out, he couldn't dare to move from the spot he was. He was just confused on what to do next because all eyes were on him at the moment.

He would have argued that he wasn't the one that pulled the rope just now, but this isn't the first time weird things happened to him.

He could recall his first day in the academy, when master Lucas ordered some men to tie him up and beat him. Despite all the beatings that day, it didn't leave a single mark on his body. It was as if the pain he had experienced that day was in his head.

Another time was when he was attacked. He was hundred percent sure that he was killed, but here he is, still alive.

Suddenly, the smell of food invaded his thoughts, making him jolt back to reality. He looked up and saw that it was a fellow trainee. He was holding a tray with varieties of food.

The young man walked to him and showed him the food.

"You should eat too. If not for you, there would have been no food for us!"

"That is true!" A feminine voice said from behind. "Thanks for the food." Roshan turned to the back and saw his colleagues coming towards him with smiles on their faces.

"Let's continue to support each other, like we have done today." The one who seems like the oldest among them said and they all agreed.

For the first time ever, he heaved a breath of relief in Onju Martial Academy. It seems things are getting better for him.

_

In an almost dark room. The air is thick, like a heavy blanket suffocating the room. Silence hangs heavy in the air, punctuated only by the faint creaks of old wooden beams.

From a corner, smoke emerged and started filling up the room.

"Huuuuuh." A puff of smoke came out from the mouth of an old man, his eyes were filled with palpable darkness and fury.

Nonchalantly, he brought the burning ginseng close to his mouth and inhaled it slowly, making tension escape from his tensed body.

Lucas came in and saw smoke filling up his room. He became scared thinking he had mistakenly lit up fire before he left the place.

Hurriedly, he walked to the source of the smoke and was going to stop the fire or whatever that was causing the smoke.

Strangely, the smoke was coming from a corner in his room, a place where he would never put his lamp.

"Who is there?" He asked with a frown on his face as he moved closer to the source.

"If you value your life, answer now! Who are…."

"Shut it! You fool." A voice responded and Lucas trembled immediately.

"My lord, is that you?" He questioned and finally approached the place. When Lucas saw the source of the voice, he quickly went on his knees. It was the prime minister, Zeres.

"Apologies my lord, I didn't know it was you! How are you doing? You look better compared to the last time is saw you."

"Better? I am sad!" Zeres replied and slammed his palm on the table [Prime minister].

Lucas trembled upon the prime minister fury.

"All my plans have fallen through. That useless king did not choose who I wanted as his queen despite all I did. I was still battling with that when one nonentity accused me of sending assassins to his house. And those fools supported him, saying that I had threatened him earlier. How dare they?!!!" Zeres vented out. [Prime minister]

"Please calm down my lord." Lucas pleaded, still on his knees.

"I am suppose to be the king. Couples of week ago, when the king died. They were confused on who to make the next king. According to our tradition, I an suppose to take over for a while as the next in authority. However, those idiots don't even rate me, not to talk of mentioning my name.

I will make them pay for it!!! They cannot escape my wrath! I have been playing games like this for years, and I have never lost."

"Tell the rest. We have a game to win!"

"Starting from that useless Odin [Minister of war], who dares to accuse me falsely, Roshan the bastard that calls himself a prince and wants to claim the throne at all cost. Maximus, that fool. I only made him the king so that I can kill him. He thinks he is in power now right?"

"I want them dead! All of them." Zeres declared and narrowed his eyes.

"Consider it done, my lord." Lucas assured and bowed before Zeres as he made his way out of the room.

"Wait." Zeres halted in his steps and turned back. "I think I forgot someone. Avery's son, Alexander. He looks like the type that will be interested in the throne when his father dies. Kill him too."
