Birth of the new Copy-ninja Kakashi

*cling...cling...cling.*

Kakashi deflected some kunai that one of the five ninjas from Iwa that he was facing simultaneously threw at him.

*bamm...booom*

One of the shinobi used the opening that was created in Kakashi's guard at that time to punched him in the belly and sent him flying. He landed against the rocky dome from which they escaped about two hours ago.

" Kakashi!!!"

Rin shouted from the top of her lungs as she was doing her best to keep Obito alive. Even though with each passing hour, his conditions kept on worsening.

" *cough* Don't worry about me, Rin!!! Focus on keeping Obito alive, I'll take care of them like to those that came before them." said Kakashi as he got up with great difficulty and wiped the blood on the right corner of his lips.

At Kakashi's words, Rin subconsciously moved her eyes to stare at the three corpses lying a few meters behind the group of ninjas. Then, she returned to taking care of Obito with any objections.

'I have used to much chakra...My chakra reserve is at its lowest... At most, I can only perform a B-rank ninjutsu, but it's better than nothing.... Rest in peace, Kakashi... I respect your last wish and protect those two till Minato shows up.'

As he finished his thought's trend, Kakashi took out five kunai and five shuriken in each hand and dashed towards the five ninja who had almost finished performing some identical hand-seals to perform a coordination ninjutsu.

He quickly coated the shuriken and kunai with a thin film of chakra, and threw them at the ninjas while aiming at their vitals. At the same time, when the five ninjas moved to successfully evade the kunai, Kakashi channelled some of his chakra into the sole of his feet and jumped above his enemies.

Before the shinobi could regain their composure and stance, Kakashi released dozens of explosive tags from above. He threw a kunai with one that was already activated as soon as the other explosive tags was about to reach the ground.

*BBBOOOOMMMMM*

All of the Iwa's ninjas were caught in the explosion and Kakashi was sent dozens of meters in the air by the sheer pressure caused by the explosion while coughing a lot of blood.

'Shit... That was stupid but from my knowledge of manga and anime, it seems feasible... God damn it!!! I'm gonna die at this rate, I feel like both of my arms and some ribs are broken....' thought the soul inhabiting Kakashi as his body slowly descended down to the ground.

"You sure are in a very pitiful state, Kakashi." said a spiky yellow-haired young man wearing forehead protector of Konoha, and pale blue clothing and green flak jacket.

"M-I-N-A-T-O-S-E-N-S-"

"Rest Kakashi, I'm here." said Minato Namikaze as interrupted Kakashi who was muttering to him as he forced himself to remain consciousness.

" Rin! Are you alright... Obito! Please, hang on some more. I'll take all of you to the village right now." said Minato as he placed the unconscious Kakashi beside Rin and Obito. Then, all of them disappeared instantaneously and leaving behind a devastated landscape.

A few hours later

"Haaaa!!...Haaaa!!!...Haaaa!!!."

Kakashi woke up in a jolt and breathed heavily, as several beads of sweats flowed down her face and fell on his white blanket. He was shirtless with his chest and left eye covered in bandages and both of his arms were in cast.

" Kakashi! Are you okay! Here drink some water." said Rin who just woke up from the chair on which she felt asleep after looking after his friend and seized a glass of water.

"Rin! How is Obito?" shouted Kakashi as he stared Rin who was holding a glass of water and approached him.

"Here Kakashi drink some water first, pleas-"

" No! Tell me, how is Obito's state first?"

Rin ignored Kakashi's question and placed the glass of water on the small table before moving to frustrated Kakashi. She silently untied the bandage around his left eye. Reflexively, Kakashi opened his left eye and found out that he could see again with his left eye. Also that everything that he saw with his left eye are reddish in colour.

'So, I failed to protect him... I'm sorry Kakashi... But I can promise you that I will definitely protect your remaining comrades.' thought the new Kakashi as third tomoe appeared into the Sharingan, that he inherited from Obito from which tears were flowing abundantly.
