Chapter Four
An Nuan had just entered and saw that a lot of attendant were rushing to different people who looked like rich people.
She smirked self mockingly to herself, people were bias towards one another when money is involved.
Just then she felt her hand enveloped into a cold big one, she raised a brow at him but he just grinned"So you won't be out of my sight".
Although she was a bit uncomfortable, she still nodded"What do you want to buy first?"Gu Ji asked,An Nuan touched her chin first"Clothes for my mom".
Gu Ji happily followed her,An Nuan roamed her eyes round the mall and sighted a familiar pair of eyes.
She couldn't believe her eyes, she glared at him remembering the incident that had happened today.
"I shouldn't worry about things that doesn't matter"she thinks to cool herself down when Gu Ji pulled her down.
"What the heck"she yelled.
He didn't talk for a while and just breath,his breath on her neck made her uncomfortable"Just help me this once,Xia is here".
An Nuan looked around trying to sight Xia.
Xia was Ji ex, she has been troubling him lately into accepting her back,Ji had broken up with her after she cheated on him with a guy in a club.
He wasn't as furious as one who found out that their girlfriend just cheated on them,he calmly broke up with her as if he had rehearsed it a millon time.
An Nuan didn't see anybody and assumed she had cornered,Ji stood up happily.
All he wanted to do was to have her scent up his nostrils,call him a pervert for sniffing the girl of his dreams, he didn't care.
He held her hand again and walked with her towards the clothes section"You know that if you need money,you can come to me"he says.
Gu Ji is actually a rich guy but he wasn't like a rich boy from a rich family who lived off his family.
He was those who started from scratch,he had gone through a lot and An Nuan asking him for money she didn't know the trouble he had gone through to get it.
She prefers money she has to work for.
"Jian,i don't want your money. It's better i get mine through my work and not on merit."she says"Moreover, my savings i have can last me and my family".
Gu Ji bright eyes grew dim,"Alright, don't forget to give me a call whenever you need something"he said.
An Nuan nodded and chose some clothes for her mom,then her siblings.
Both her and Gu Ji really look like a couple, people couldn't help but whispher among themselves.
"Wow,see how cute they are"
"They look like a lovely couple,they are clearly feeding us singles dog food"
"Oh come on, maybe she's just a toy. Look at the girl"
"Yes, you're right. Maybe she's his maid. The man is so well dressed,he looks like Ceo Gu from that tech company"
"OMG,he is the one. Why is he with that lady?"
"She isn't even up to his league. She'll be the one clinging herself unto him. What a slut"
An Nuan looked at the girl who had just insulted her. She had been quietly enduring all the insults all because she didn't want Gu Ji to become a laughing stock of the mess she'll cause.
But to hell with respect, An Nuan thinks. Who does that girl think she is. Cursing her is not acceptable.
Stomping her way toward the girl who insulted her,the girl raised her chin in pride.
An Nuan could detect that she's one of those rich spoilt imps who get everything they want, they would never understand what she's going through but gets to live off their parents.
An Nuan raised her chin also and sneered looking at her from head to toe"You call me a slut when you're one already".
"Do you think because you're with Ceo Gu, you're important. You're no where near him"
An Nuan walked back to Gu Ji who looked at her with adoration. She stood closer to him reaching his neck,he could smell the sweet shampoo she had applied on her hair.
The girl features was contorted with confusion.
"I hope you're ain't blind to see how near i am to him. I'm closer to him than you'll ever be"The crowd surrounding the girl all dissipated seeing the anger brewing from the girl. She looked like a lion ready to attack.
She dropped her GUCCI bag on the floor and surged towards An Nuan in an alerty manner. An Nuan has been in this kind of situation and had known of what's going to happen next.
