P.S= #66: Ascending the Haku-infused Mt Kyla

[On the way to Mt Kyla]

Ava, Elliott, Misaki, and Cory walked up Mt Kyla with Mr Yuki, they could feel the strong Haku energy in the area intensify with every step they took. The mountain was steep and rocky, with patches of snow covering the ground. They had to be careful not to slip and fall as they made their way towards the peak and the cave that lay beyond.

"Mr Yuki?" Cory called out his name, trying to start a conversation.

"Yes?" Mr Yuki replied, turning his head to look at Cory.

"Were you a fighter on my grandpa's crew?" Cory asks, curious.

"Yes, I was. I wasn't as skilled as the others, but I knew basic Haku and hand-to-hand combat. In fact, I could take and beat a captain," Mr Yuki says, his voice proud.

"A captain?" Elliott echoes.

"Yes, not just on other crews. Don't you know the ranks in the slayer system?" Mr Yuki asks, raising an eyebrow.

"The highest rank is Elder or Grand Elder, those are the six strongest Elders among The 12 Elders. Then you have The Commandants, who are the right-hand men for the Elders. Next, you have The Commander, then Vice Commander, Captain, Vice Captain, Chief Sergeant, Sergeant, Corporal, Lance Corporal, Private, and Recruit," Misaki explains.

"I could fight with a captain. I'm pretty sure you guys can take a captain," Mr Yuki says confidently.

"You think so, but what I really want to know is what's your bounty or what was your bounty?" Cory asks, his curiosity piqued.

"40-50 million," Mr Yuki answers.

"Damn, your bounty is higher than mine," Cory remarks.

"If I'm to be honest, I don't think I could beat a Corporal," Mr Yuki admits.

"Why though?" Elliott asks.

"Because this generation is way stronger than mine. I know for a fact if prime me vs any of you right now, you guys would beat me, might even kill me," Mr Yuki says, his voice solemn.

"Really? You think so?" Ava asks.

"Yes, every generation is stronger than the last, don't you know?" Mr Yuki says, a hint of regret in his voice.

[In The Country Eada]

Goujirou walks into a room with the king of Eada following behind him.

"Tell me something, what are you really going to do with Cory?" King Kanzaki asks, his voice tinged with suspicion.

"Don't worry, I have a friend. I told him about what happened, and he's going to help me just to let me test how strong they are, you know," Goujirou says nonchalantly.

"How strong they are?" King Kanzaki asks, his voice rising in disbelief.

"Yes, I know they will kill him," Goujirou says, his voice confident.

"And if they don't, then what?" King Kanzaki asks, his tone growing colder.

"Then we win," Goujirou says, his eyes narrowing.

"And what if they win?" King Kanzaki asks, his voice laced with anger.

"Then I'll wait for them and take them down with my own hands," Goujirou says, his voice menacing.

[Mt Kyla]

"Can you tell us a story about your adventures? Something fun?" Cory asks, breaking the tension.

"Okay, one day we went to an island, but little did we know Ankoku and Ichika were there too. Raphael, Ankoku, and Ichika clashed on the island for two days straight," Mr Yuki says, his voice reminiscent.

"Who won?" Cory asks, his eyes lighting up with excitement.

"No one." Said Mr Yuki.

"Wait what why?" Asked Elliott.

"Because they had to stop." Said Mr Yuki.

"Why?" Asked Misaki.

"Because an another elder and alot of slayers were coming on a ship. Ichika was missing for 2 days so they sent out a search party for him."

They reach to the top of the mountain they could see a cave but outside it looks dark but as they walked through the cave, the brightness intensified, revealing sparkling rocks on the walls and ceiling. The sound of dripping water echoed in the cave, creating a soothing atmosphere with the strong bust of Haku inside the cave.

Ava couldn't help but admire the natural beauty surrounding them. "This is amazing," she said, looking up at the glittering crystals.

Misaki nodded in agreement. "I've never seen anything like this before."

"Question what are we doing here?" Asked Cory.

"For two reasons 1 to find materials to make you a new sword and 2 I'm going to show you the second and safe way to travel to the other side." Mr Yuki replies.
