With the aid of some scarce resources, Kathleen can commence her training in the technique which requires her to undergo Nine Blood Revolutions. As the name suggests, she will undergo nine stages to refine her bloodline.

In order to improve, Kathleen must practice utilizing her bloodline, and as she completes each revolution, she will gain access to new abilities associated with her bloodline.

Humans who possess the bloodlines of Mythical beasts will activate their bloodline as they gain proficiency in magic. However, only those with exceptional talent can harness their bloodline abilities, and due to the dominance of their human bloodline, their bloodline will remain impure.

Various techniques are available to eliminate the impurities and enhance one's bloodline, but in Aurora World, they are nonexistent and only exist in the possession of the most influential factions such as the Imperial family and the Duchies..

To the best of her knowledge, Kathleen's father was the sole individual in the history of Black Dragon Duchy who activated his bloodline and was qualified to practice the aforementioned techniques.

Nevertheless, Kathleen was certain that even without laying her eyes on those techniques, they could not rival the abilities of technique that she currently possessed.

As per the technique imparted by Agatha, completing all nine revolutions could potentially enable a person to transform into a true dragon.

However, becoming a dragon is not merely a matter of possessing dragon blood within one's body; if that were the case, humans could potentially become the most powerful creatures by simply using the blood of beasts to transform into them.

Even though Kathleen was unaware of the exact process, she felt curious to discover it. However, whether she was willing to undergo the transformation to become a true dragon was a different matter entirely, and not something she needed to worry about at present.

Her immediate concern was to gain control over her strength, as the final exams were just 10 days away and she needed to prepare for them.

Kathleen rose from her bed upon noticing that it was already 11 AM. She made up her mind to devote her day to training and proceeded to get dressed in her uniform.

Exiting her room, she walked down the corridor, she pondered whether to seek out Sophie and ask her to be a training partner, or whether to train alone.

'Since Sophie may have already gone to class, perhaps I should...'

Before Kathleen could complete her thoughts, she was alerted by the sound of Sophie's voice, causing her to turn and look to her left.

She noticed Sophie standing against the wall, dressed in her usual blue uniform. Upon making eye contact, Sophie began to walk towards Kathleen.

"Sophie, I thought you had classes! Are you waiting for me?" Kathleen asked with a smile. Over the past two days, Sophie, who bore a little resemblance to the female lead character, had been spending time with Kathleen.

Kathleen was aware that Sophie was not quick to trust others, so she felt privileged that Sophie had spent the last two days in her company. Kathleen realized that Sophie had likely grown to trust her because Kathleen's behavior differed from that of most nobles in the academy.

Kathleen also considered the possibility that Sophie may have developed feelings for her following their mission together the previous day.

"I was actually hoping to inquire if we can become training partners. I require some motivation to reach the peak stage of 2-Star-You, this....I couldn't help but notice your peculiar mana fluctuations. Have you perhaps advanced to a 3-Star mage?" Sophie's eyes widened in surprise as she sensed Kathleen's mana fluctuations

'Oh no, I forgot to conceal my mana fluctuations.' Kathleen muttered inwardly, unable to believe she had made such a mistake. She certainly didn't want anyone to know her rank as she intended to keep it hidden for the upcoming final exams.

Every human possesses a distinct mana fluctuation that enables others to detect a mage's rank. Although concealing one's mana fluctuation from significantly more powerful individuals is impossible, it is plausible to hide it from those of the same rank. However, in Kathleen's excitement of making an advancement, she had forgotten to conceal it.

Sophie observed Kathleen's anxious expression and how she retracted her mana fluctuations. She realized that Kathleen was hesitant to expose her rank.

Sophie wouldn't have inquired, but she knew that Kathleen had recently advanced to high level 2-star, and now to 3-star just after a day, which was a major surprise. She wondered how Kathleen had achieved such swift progress without harming her mana core.

"Kathleen, forget about it if you don't want to discuss it." Spoke Sophie, looking at her. She understood that they were not that close and had only started getting to know each other two days ago.

""I mean... it's a secret. Could you please not share my rank with anyone else?" Kathleen said with a sigh, hoping Sophie would understand her concern for privacy.

"Please don't worry, Kathleen. Your secret is safe with me. I won't divulge a word of it to anyone." Sophie assured, her expression resolute.

"Well, regarding the idea of becoming training partners, I was actually thinking about that too." Kathleen responded.

As they made their way towards the training area of the academy, Kathleen gave a silent nod.

"Sophie, have you heard anything about Rowena? I haven't seen her around the campus." Kathleen inquired, feeling suspicious about Rowena's sudden friendship with her one day and sudden disappearance the next.

"I don't have any specific information, but I overheard some students saying that Rowena had returned to the imperial castle yesterday. I don't know the reason for her sudden departure," Sophie replied, recalling some murmurs she had heard among other students.

Kathleen remained silent and both of them walked towards the training area without any conversation.

They arrived at a set of towering doors, adorned with a grand depiction of two warriors clashing on a battlefield. The doors were massive, with a smaller entrance built into one of them.

Sophie and Kathleen passed through the smaller entrance of the two doors, which was still larger than their own frames.

Kathleen was in awe as her gaze swept across the vast expanse inside the doors. The area was a spacious flatland divided into twelve sections, where two or more individuals could train and engage in battles. She was aware that there were several such areas within the academy.

Both of them were aware of the academy's training protocol, and they proceeded to enter one of the unoccupied training sections.
