"She really accomplished that." Max who was watching the battle muttered under his breath, and a peculiar glint flashed through his eyes. While Sophie and Rowena were in absolute shock just like the rest of the crowd.

They all were not shocked because Kathleen defeated the tiger, they all are shocked because of her use of sword techniques and Elemental magic in combination.

'Well, if the father was a dragon, than the daughter can't be a dog indeed. Duke Oliver really did passed down his own unique Sword techniques to his daughter, that too at such a young age.' Instructor Arron thought in his mind after remembering a fight that he saw when he was young.

When Duke Oliver was not a duke, but a normal student of the Magus Academy. The black dragon duchy was in-charge of guarding the eastern border of the empire. And outside the border, a forest called Dream Land forest exists which was filled with ferocious beasts and different types of magical beast tribes.

And occasionally, these beast tribes will attack humans cities after combining their strength, it was called as a beast tide. No tall walls or any broad fences can stop the thousands of magical beasts which will march towards the black dragon duchy.

Arron was present there once when it happened, that was also the time when the whole empire learned the name of 'Oliver black dragon'.

He seen a man flying in the air Killing all the magical beasts like he was slapping some flys, with two Dragon horns on his head and two Dragon wings on his back, he massacred thousands of magical beasts with his sword and without a shred of mercy in his eyes.

Duke Oliver was one of the few people in the empire that can use Magical Swordsmanship through combining his sword techniques with elemental spells. Of course, it's not easy as it sounds, the reason being not many people are blessed with both types of talents and even if they did, it's impossible to have factors like, Luck and Destiny supporting them in their journey.

Aaron's right arm suddenly shivered remembering the menaceing gaze of that man.

'Damn it! It made sense that I feared him in the past when I was weak, but I am now a 7-Star Great Mage, why is my arm Shivering.' Instructor Arron cursed under his breath, but remembering Kathleen's sword moves and her sword stances, he couldn't help but think.

'Would she also become a monster like her father? No, she can't, when she is fighting she showed no intent to fight and her eyes are filled with sympathy for the tiger, it's impossible for someone like her to achieve something that monster achieved. Well, all that didn't really matter, after all, she have to survive today to achieve something in the future.' He thought in his mind as a mysterious glint flashed through his eyes.

Kathleen was feeling really dizzy after exhausting almost all of her mana, she took a Black coloured pill from her space ring and put it in her mouth.

'This pill can recover all of my mana in just a few minutes and heal my injuries as long as they are not life threatening. I always wanted to know how this pill's taste, hmm~ it's like a candy with different flavours, they are at least not like that medical tablets that I have to chew rather than just swallowing directly.'

Her gaze suddenly fell on the tiger's body which was on the ground as it twitched ever so lightly, showing that it still has it's consciousness.

She walked infront of it hurridly and squatted beside it's body. Instructor Arron who was seeing this narrowed his eyes.

'What is she doing?'

But suddenly he turned towards the students because a commotion was erupted in the crowd.

Kathleen took out a red coloured pill from her space ring.

"This pill is supposed to heal any light injuries of a mage in just a few seconds. Damn, this female lead is so stupid, she has so many treasures that she received from her parents but she still hates her mother because of the marriage contract issue."

She tried pushing that into the flaming tiger's mouth, but the tiger only growled at her face refusing to open it's mouth.

"You Little."

Kathleen clicked her tongue, Seeing that the tiger was being on guard against her. But after a few minutes, the tiger opened it's mouth and swallowed the pill after smelling and noticing it was a medicine.

If Aaron's saw this, he would've definitely stopped Kathleen, but since he doesn't the flaming tiger started to recover in a rapid speed.

It stood up feeling the pain and it's injuries slowly vanishing, but the tiger was still on guard against Kathleen.

Kathleen slowly stretched her arm forward and tried to pet the tiger cub which was almost a meter tall tiger. However, she only received a growling sounds from it as it moved away from Kathleen's hand.

After few seconds of trying, Kathleen was finally able to put her hand on the tiger's head to pet it.

She slowly brought her face near the tiger's face which seems to be enjoying the caresses on it head. Even if it is a one meter tall beast, it was still a cub after all.

"Little beast, listen carefully, your mother will come here in a few minutes to take you back, and she will be in a very angry mood. So what you have to do is, just go back with her without causing any commotion. Do you understand?" Kathleen said as she found petting this tiger was quite cute.
