Escaping

Alex Lunaria

'What are you doing here?' she demanded, her face twisting with suspicion. My face, filled with fear, froze in response.

'Nothing, ma'am. I decided to check up on him,' I stammered and managed to say those words. She smirked.

Louis's voice came from behind, 'If it is that new omega, just let her be.' Nazneen's face was full of disgust.

'It's alright,' she grinned, her teeth rolling her eyes. Louis came towards the door fully dressed.

'I will see you some other time,' he smirked, leaning towards me. 'Pretty,' he whispered, walking away.

'Really!' Nazneen chuckled, rolling her eyes at me before walking away.

I sighed. This was my perfect chance to manipulate Lucas to take me to the Ashwood pack.

'I must leave this place,' I whispered to myself, walking away from the chamber. I entered into the chaotic place, mixed with sex and all.

I wonder if they ever take a rest. I gently sat down on a chair, thinking if our moon goddess really loves me to bring me back alive.

It was freaking crazy that I had to be reborn into the body of an omega who hasn't wolfed out before.

I sighed. I really need to use the last chance I have to correct my mistakes and make sure Michael forgives me because I have wronged him, including my father.

I didn't know when a tear dropped from my eye. I sniffed and gently cleaned my eyes.

All of a sudden, a naked lady dropped on my table, and a guy roughly handled her.

I stood up in annoyance, looking at the environment I was in filled with disgusting people.

I sighed. The only safe place was my room. I left the scene, going into my room, where I saw that same girl seated on my bed.

I finally took the time to ask, 'Who are you?' I asked her, curiously.

'Call me Maya,' she said. I looked at her curiously and didn't care. All I wanted was to lay down.

'Alright, I think I've had enough for today. I would like to sleep,' I said to her. She rolled her eyes at me, ignoring me to do something else.

Getting freaked out by her attitude, I burst out, 'What issues do you have with me?' I questioned her. She stood up, glaring at me.

'You, this teen. Just one day you woke up, and all eyes were on you, and you were trying to take my position with the beta. Be careful,' she said, looking at my face.

'Oh, really, is that it?' I smiled, walking away towards the bed.

I could see her raging mad. 'Look, young brat, you need to know your place,' she said angrily, lying down beside me. I froze for a second. She was my bedmate, and I felt uncomfortable on the bed.

Sharing my bed with a stranger, tapping her, 'I don't think we can sleep on the same bed,' I said to her.

'Who are you, young lady? Kindly leave me tonight. I'm really stressed out. Fucking thirty-four guys in a day isn't easy, so let me be!' She yelled, turning towards the other side.

I was speechless, hearing her share of experience, feeling defeated. I lay back down, still uncomfortable. I stood up in annoyance and went outside.

The atmosphere might be cool. I looked at myself, ripping off my clothes and tried howling, but it didn't work.

I tried to wolf out, but everything kept being difficult. 'Such a useless body,' I whispered in frustration, sitting down on the floor.

'There is more than this world,' I whispered. I stood up, looking around, making sure no one was there.

'I need to escape real quick,' I said to myself, running without knowledge of where I'm going.

After hours of running, some moaning sounds were heard. I looked around and finally saw a gate. I smiled, rushing at the same time, breathing heavily.

'I did it,' I smiled when a lantern approached.

'What are you doing here?' a guard asked. I froze. I never knew there were guards protecting this place.

'Nothing much,' I smiled, looking at his face scanning my body. I hurriedly used my hand to cover my chest, noticing that I had ripped off my clothes.

'Are you trying to escape?' He asked, sending shivers down my body.

'No, I'm not. Just trying to walk around,' I said with a smile.

He chuckled. 'Do you think it's easy to walk and get here?' He asked me.

'I'm sorry. I have to report you to Nazneen,' I was about to turn back to run when I bumped into some other guards behind me.

'I'm sorry,' I murmured.

"Lock her up. She tried escaping," two guards grabbed me, taking me towards the cell.

'I'm sorry. Please don't let Nazneen know,' I tried pleading. I was thrown inside the wooden dark cell, with guards protecting it.

'I'm sorry,' I yelled, but there was no response. I gently accepted my fate, lying down on the floor. I should have just managed the bed instead of this, I sobbed.

'I need to leave,' I whispered before closing my eyes.

So fast, the light bloomed again. It was a new day. I turned around on the hard floor.

Hearing the lock of the door creaked, I was too tired to open my eyes due to the sobbing I had yesterday. All of a sudden, water splashed all over my body.

I woke up instantly, sitting upright. I looked at the guards, and looking at my body, I lowered my head in shame.

'Take her to see Nazneen,' he uttered, his gaze looking all over my body.

'No, please, just spare me this one time,' I went on my knees, begging. I didn't know what consequences Nazneen was going to give me.

'You should have thought twice before running,' the senior guard said, bending down to look at me.

His face went through my body, making me feel ashamed. 'The next time you try to run away, I and my boys will deal with you,' he muffled.

'Take her,' he signaled, standing up. He was a freak. I lost hope in begging but surrendered.
