Rae Bennett took off her protective suit and disinfected the tools. It was almost three o'clock by the time she had finished the follow-up work.

The smell of embalming fluid and the stench of blood in the Repair Room were too overpowering. After having spent a long time in there, she felt a bit dizzy and decided to step out for some fresh air.

Locals often chose the morning for funeral affairs, so the funeral home was not very crowded in the afternoon, just scattered families here and there.

A young girl glanced several times towards the green space before approaching tentatively, not quite sure, "Are you Ruby?"

Rae responded to the girl, "I am."

"I really like your audio and video."

"Thank you."

The girl smiled and walked away without further disturbance.

Madam Raven came over and handed Rae a piece of white chocolate.
