Visiting the Grandmaster
Relieved of his courteous duties towards Yu Yusheng who decided to rest before his departure, Han Xuelian occupied himself at the desk in his study. He revisited old reports exchanged between him and the Leader of the Celestial Hunters.
His attention was stirred by the anomaly of lingering Qi in the mechanism installed on the box where he stored his old reports and letters. His expression contorted into a scowl as he closed his eyes and assessed the box with a mental focus to detect any peculiarities.
Much to his surprise, the remnants of Qi belonged to him. Yet, the Grandmaster did not consult the box for its contents in recent weeks since he last concealed it in his drawer.
