Painite

Her words made him blush, Silas covered his face but the hint of red was clear on the tip of his ears.

Crystal chuckled thinking how easy it was to make him blush. She was foolish to not plan this earlier. But then again he never gave her an opportunity like that before today.

Silas always tried to win her and her always rebelling against him. Knowing well that if she accepts also, he was not going to let her go out. If she tries to kill him here, this was a place with security she had already tried to escape.

Even ends her life but it fails. But as soon as he made that proposal, Crystal knew this was her last chance to end this hellish nightmare.

Getting out of such a tight security place, after that it was way easier. For Aysel, for Elle and for Mona who died because of a monster like him. She swore on life to give him such tortuous marriage experience even his soul would beg for death.

A slow and painful death that even his next life would remember. Crystal swore to herself. This was a war she had to fight, and as the saying goes everything is fair in love and war. In this case, love is an illusion to hide the cruel war she was planning.

"What are you thinking?" Silas question brought her back to reality. She looked at the man in front of her. The man she hated most, but acts like she loves him the most.

Crystal forced herself to smile, and shook her head in reply. "I am done eating." She pushed the plate and got up to leave once clearing her face.

Silas didn't think much, and nodded to her. Crystal immediately walks back to her bedroom and closes the door behind.

She sighed and leaned her back on the door. "This battle is long. You need to brace yourself." Crystal encourages herself, walking towards the dressing mirror.

Realixing the bathrobe covers too much she proceeded to her walk-in closet, trying to find something to fit her.

After searching for some long, she found the perfect nightdress. That doesn't make her look slutty but reveals the amount she needs to lure him.

Just as she was done putting it, he knocked on the door. Crystal smirked seeing what a great timing she had and walked to open the door.

Crystal didn't open the door completely, she just open enough to chipped her head out. Her body beneath her neck behind the door. She was no fool to reveal everything in one go. Sometimes acting innocent is better than advances.

Silas was standing at the front, his hand behind his back. His face showed a tint of hesitation.

Crystal crooked her head to the side, curious why that look. Silas cleared his throat, and brought his hand forward. On his right hand, Crystal noticed a small black box.

Was it an engagement ring? She thought to herself until he revealed the box. "This is a small gift I prepared for you long ago." Silas said, his face a mix of hesitation and embarrassment.

Crystal looked at the small box, it was a small rectangle shape but nothing else. Pretty simple. Seeing her curious face, Silas opened the box revealing the intricate jewellery that made her gasp her in shock.

Crystal eye's widened on seeing the pendant inside the box. The charm was two ovals entwined together, with a small ruby-like stone in the middle.

The ovals were rose gold, with a small stone which resembles diamond. Crystal was not sure if they were actual diamonds or just resemblance.

With flickered eyes, she looked up at him, awestruck by the pendant. It was something she would wear. Simple with intricate design.

Silas smiled nervously and started to introduce it,"It's called lover's knot. A friend of mine helped with the design. Well with everything except the…" He stopped on his track and glanced at the red gem at the centre.

"Is that Ruby?" Crystal question, drag him back to reality. A slight smile appeared on his face.

"No. It's painite." Silas corrected her. Though he didn't tell her that it was the rarest gem in the earth and that small one in her chain was worth more than most people earn.

Painite. To her it sounded more like pain-ite. Such a coincidence. Crystal chuckled thinking about it, she was planning to give him pain while he did faster than her. Like literal pain.

Seeing her giggling to herself, Silas looked at her puzzled. Rubbing the back of her neck, he asked,"What's wrong?"

Crystal stopped laughing hearing his question and shook her head,"Nothing."

"Want to put it on yourself?" She suggested changing the topic. Silas eyes glistened with hope like a young kid,"Can I?" He enquired once again making sure she was fine with him touching.

Crystal chuckled softly, and opened the door completely, revealing herself. Silas was caught off guard on seeing her.

She was wearing a thin strapped, v-neck cobalt blue shade night dress. Bit of her cleavage was revealed, it really complimented her undertones. Silas scanned further down the chest, and was more astonished seeing it was covering only till her mid thighs.

His heart pumped up while his brain was busy taking a flight to all kinds of thoughts. He thought he was in control after all those temptations from her. Now it all went poof, just by seeing her in a nightgown.

What was she trying to do? Does she want to meet a hungry beast who ravish her then and there like no tomorrow? Her seduction was becoming dangerous now.
