Alex

Crystal carelessly ran out only to hit someone bulky. She fell on the floor, the knife on her hand was swooned away.

In fear she tried to grab the knife before Silas reached upto her. But another steady hand picked it up before her.

Crystal finally looked at the bulky man standing in front of her. His amber eyes looked straight into her soul. He was way more brawny than Silas. Infront of him, Silas looked like a stick.

His black curly hair hides most of his forehead. But above all, his cold face sent chills down her spine. Crystal was frozen to her place in terror.

The person yanked her up with full force, resulting in her face winced in pain. His eyes were darker than the storm on seeing the wounds on her neck.

"My master treats you so well and you do this to him." He yelled at her, shaking her forcefully.

"Alex!" Silas shouted, snapping his hands away from and pulling Crystal into his arms.

Alex didn't say a thing, he sighed running his fingers through his dark hair. He looked at the woman in Silas's arm, not hiding the fact how hostile he was towards Crystal.

Crystal shuddered seeing his spiteful look but he said nothing and left with the knife. Only then Crystal realised that Silas was holding her in his arms.

His eyes filled with worry looking at the wound on her neck. "Does it hurt badly?" He asked in a painful voice. As if he was more in pain than her.

Silas didn't wait for her to finish speaking before picking her up from the ground and carrying her back to the room like a princess even after her revolts.

He remained patient with her kicking and twisting around in his arms, and held her tight and close to his chest. More than her struggles, he was shocked how light she was.

She felt like a feather in his hand, making him scared that if he touched a bit firm she would be hurt. She must not weigh fourty from what he could see. Silas decided in his mind to make sure she eats as much as she can.

He carefully put her on the bed and rubbed away her tears. Checking her wounds, the wound was nut much just a scar at most, but doesn't stop Silas from over worrying.

"Alex! Call the doctor!" He shrieked, his hands clearly trembling. Within a second Silas shouted, the man appeared with another guy wearing white coat by his side.

As if Alex already prepared knowing what Silas would say. The doctor gave him a slight bow and ran to check her wound.

Crystal glared at Silas who was still pinning her hands down, and started to kick her legs in the air mercilessly. Silas saw her rebel, and sighed holding those legs with his other hand.

"Just let the doctor see the wound, I will take my hands away once it's done." Silas tried to counsel her.

Crystal didn't say anything. Her voice was still not back but nothing was more horrible than this. Her friends may have been killed by this same person and she was here, pinned down by him and the doctor checking her wounds.

She doesn't care about wounds. What could be more degrading to her, than being touched by the same monster from four years ago.

Crystal gritted her teeth, biting her lower lips tight enough to make them bleed. Her eyes brimming with tears.

The doctor cleared the wound and put the bandage and left without any delay leaving Crystal and Silas alone in the room. Alex closed the door before going out.

As promised, Silas released her hand and legs. He saw how red her lips turned with continuous biting. Afraid she will harm herself again, he put her thumb in between to make her stop biting.

In anger, Crystal couldn't help but bite his thumb fiercely. Her teeth imprinted on his skin and blood oozed out. Silas didn't pull it back.

Crystal could taste the metallic taste from his blood. She finally let it go, not because she cared more because she didn't want to taste the blood of someone like him. It disgusted her.

Silas said nothing. He was not even angry at her. He deserved it for what he did in the past. He just wants a chance to undo his mistake and be with her like she wished for.

Crystal sat up straight on the bed, tears flowing down her face. Knowing it was no use for her to run. The person must have locked the door on their way out. She needs to come out with a better plan than this.

Silas noticed her gaze still fixated at the door. He can do everything except allow her to go out from there. He can't take chances on that, other than that he accepts anything.

"How have you been all these years? You disappeared after that incident…" Silas tried to strike a conversation. He peeked at her, she was still silent, eyes fixated at the direction of the door and tears streaming down.

He sighed and gave up. He can't play around with words. "Other than letting you go, you can ask for anything."

Crystal finally averted her gaze towards him, her pupils dilated in disbelief. She couldn't believe he was serious. The anger returned, she clenched her fingers into a fist as disadian for him grew bigger. She was a human not object that he can keep as he wishes.
