Marked By The Demon King

His long white hair was spilled on the pillow as his face looked just as handsome as when he was awake. She placed a kiss on his cheek and his eyes blinked open. His dark, beautiful eyes landed on her brown ones and a smile touched his lips. He tightened his arms around her as he leaned his head down to the crook of her neck where he had marked her.

The fang wholes were healed, but left two pink marks on the skin to show everyone she was a demon marked by her mate. He pressed his lips on the skin and she felt a delightful shiver go through her. He pressed more kisses on it, making her gasp and clutch his arms. Vincent pulled back and looked at her, "Good morning, my Queen."

She smiled at him as she lifted her hand and ran her fingers through his silky white hair. "Good morning, my King."

His smile broadened, showing those slightly pointed fangs. "How does it feel to be a demon?"

"Amazing. I had no idea that you saw, heard and smelt so clearly. What's even more amazing is that your wings were out when we were mating. They looked so angelic, how comes demons are portrayed as evil in the human kingdom?"

"I am glad that you like my wings, they are a big part of me. As for your question, when demons from the first bloodline became very few, other demons started joining dark witches and doing so much evil that they tainted our name in the human kingdom."

"I am so sorry about that." She said as she took her hand away from his hair.

"It's fine, we will clear our name once the dark witches are destroyed." He said and placed a kiss on her forehead. As he leaned back, he said, "I will train you later after I meet my officials and advisors, but now, we are going to get ready and go to mother's court for breakfast. She needs to see my mark on you."

Quinn smiled shyly and he grinned as he leaned in to kiss her lips this time.

After Vincent and Quinn bathed and got dressed, she stood in front of the mirror beside the bathroom door as she placed her crown on her head. It suited her well as the golden color contrasted well with her dark brown hair. In a split second, Vincent was standing behind her holding her waist. That meant he used his vampire speed.

She looked at him through the mirror as he did too. Their eyes met and she felt the intensity of his eyes through the mirror. As he held her gaze, he leaned down and placed a kiss on his mark that was on her neck. She shivered in pleasure and she felt the smile on his lips against her skin.

He raised his head and continued staring into her eyes in the mirror. He was wearing his crown as well which made him look more gorgeous and strong. "You are so beautiful, my Queen. Becoming a demon has made you even more beautiful that I find it hard to take my eyes off of you."

Her lips lifted up into a smile, "Thank you, Vincent. You are also breathtaking."

He chuckled, showing those fangs in his mouth. "Will I also get fangs?"

"Perhaps, but it is most likely since I turned you. That means you should have most of my powers too."

"That's good, your powers are incredible." She said looking even more happy than that morning.

"Indeed." He replied before he turned her around to face him. He studied her from head to toe which made her brows furrow in confusion. She asked, "What are you looking for?"

"I am trying to see how fast you are changing into a demon." He answered as he smiled at her.

"And how fast am I changing?"

"Very fast, you will be a full demon by the end of the day." He replied just as a knock sounded on the door.

He was at the door in a minute, she smiled to herself at seeing him so happy. Since the curse was broken, all his powers were back and stronger than ever. That also meant that he could use them as much as he could. He opened the door as she walked to stand beside him.

The door opened to reveal her nine maids, they all bowed when they saw them. "Good morning, your Majesty and your Highness."

"Good morning." Quinn answered as Vincent nodded as he said, "Morning."

Quinn looked at them, "We are going to mother's court, follow us there."

"But we have not served you breakfast yet, your Highness." The head maid said.

"It is fine, we are going to eat with mother." She replied and Vincent slipped his hand into hers, intertwining their fingers.

She looked at him and smiled as she heard the maids answer, "Yes, your Highness."

Turning her head to face outside, she and Vincent walked out of the door and he closed it behind him. That was when they saw all of his guards standing a few feet behind her maids with Caesar at the front. They noticed them and bowed, "Good morning, your Majesty and your Highness."

"Good morning." Quinn and Vincent answered at the same time. Vincent added, "Follow us to mother's court as well."

"Yes, your Majesty." They all chorused.

Quinn and Vincent started walking out of her courtyard and her maids followed behind her while his guards followed behind him. With her heightened hearing, she could hear what the maids behind the head maids were saying.

They were whispering about Vincent's mark on her neck, and how it meant that she was his true mate and not a loveless marriage. They kept gushing about how in love the King and Queen looked and how they wanted to find their true love as well.

"Are you disturbed by their gossiping, my Queen?" He asked as he looked at her while they continued walking.
