Tohsaka Sakura

If one were to vote to choose the most miserable heroine among the viewers of "Fate/Stay Night, Sakura Matou would undoubtedly be at the top.

Matou Sakura was originally the second daughter of the Tohsaka family, one of the three royal families who created the Holy Grail War.

Like her sister Tosaka Rin, she had outstanding magic aptitude; however, this excellent magic talent became the source of her tragic fate.

When considering the inheritance of magic, the first factor to consider is magical aptitude, and the second is age.

Both Sakura and Rin Tohsaka had exceptional magical aptitude, but considering that Rin was the older sister, it made more sense for her to inherit the Tohsaka family's magic.

But the head of the Tohsaka family, Tokiomi Tohsaka, did not want to waste Sakura's magical potential, so he planned to send Sakura to be adopted into the Matou family, which had a history of close cooperation and weakening magical bloodlines.

Shinji Matou thought as his gaze shifted to the two young girls.

Hiding behind her was another girl with black-brown hair, bearing a resemblance of about six or seven points to Rin.

Unlike her sister's strong-willed attitude, she clung tightly to Rin's clothes, a mixture of fear and curiosity as she looked around.

Byakuya Matou put on a cheerful smile and approached them, extending his right hand. "Long time no see, Tohsaka family head! Your elegance and composure are as impressive as ever."

"You're too kind, Matou family head," responded Tokiomi Tohsaka with a composed air.

After a moment, Tokiomi turned his head and looked at Shinji Matou, his expression briefly tensing before quickly returning to a smile. "Is this the son of the Matou family head?"

"That's correct, my son. How about we move to the main hall to continue our discussion? It would be impolite to have our guests stand at the door," Byakuya Matou warmly invited.

With everyone entering the estate, they began discussing the distribution of interests concerning Sakura's adoption into the Matou family.

Tokiomi Tohsaka wanted to adopt Sakura into the Matou family to inherit the Matou family's magic. In return, the Tohsaka family had to pay a substantial price for this decision.

"Wait!" Before even stepping inside, Shinji Matou heard a commanding voice, clear and authoritative, as if a master was giving orders to a servant.

Shinji Matou turned to the girl with twin ponytails in front of him and politely responded, "Miss Tohsaka, may I help you with something?"

Well, his polite appearance made Tohsaka Rin very unhappy.

But before she could say anything, her mother, Tohsaka Aoi, reached out and stroked her little head and scolded her softly: "Rin, we are guests, we can't talk to the host in such a rude tone."

The little girl pouted and said unwillingly: "Yes."

It seemed that she was directing her anger at Shinji Matou for being scolded by her mother.
