Gluttony II

After defeating the Demon Gods inside the Melting Furnace, we then gather around to do some planning.

"So, what now?"

"Fujimaru-kun, you need to destroy all Seven Terminal that protecting Salomon throne before you able to reach it."

"Dr. Romani, Where is the location of the next terminal?"

"That should be…"

Before Dr. Romani able to finish his sentences, Explosion was happening in the middle of the room, where the Naberius just defeated. I look at the Explosion and see a green mist appear from the room, and coming out from the mist is an unholy creature. It has a general shape of a Flies, but instead of flying, it was standing on its two feet while its other feet are holding a staff. On top of its head is a crown made of bones.

"The Lord of the Flies, Beelzebub"

I hear Dr. Romani says through the Fujimaru communication device. I look at the Demon Gods that just appear before me. Instead of a tentacle monster, the one that appears before me is a monster with a different shape than the other.

I snap from my thought when the Lord of Flies raises its hand, and suddenly an unholy locust swarm appears across the room. When I saw the swarm of locusts appear inside the room, I immediately activated my Incinerate Anthem and created a dome of Holy Fire around us and burned the Locust into ashes.

After a few seconds, I pushed enough mana toward my Incinerate Anthem, and suddenly, the dome of Holy Fire exploded, burning all the Locust into ashes. When the Locust is gone, I look at Beelzebub and don't have a single burn mark on its body. Before we were able to attack Beelzebub, The Lord of Flies raised its hand once more, and the room darkened into night and shadows. Whispers, light, and eerie echoed within the ears of all. They spoke of passion, ambitions, and ideals, but all at once, they were filled with a type of malice that eroded away the rationality of the mind. It spoke most of what one wished to hear but took away all that was truly important.

I look at the Fujimaru Ritsuka Servant and also my Servant. I see that they are somehow affected by the word of Beelzebub and the empty promise of its sweet words. However, the one that is most affected is Jeanne Alter that slowly walks toward Beelzebub.

Seeing the situation, I activated my Incinerate Anthem once more, but this time I Overpowered it a little bit. My Incinerate Anthem then exploded into a torrent of fire that burned Beelzebub and stopped him from using his ability, which made the room normal once again.

"That is a close call."

"Yes, Thank you."

"No, Problem. Let's just focus on the Beelzebub for a second as the Demon Gods, especially Beelzebub, are known for their sweet word of empty promise."

"I see."

I look at Ritsuka, and my Servant is engaging the Lord of Flies while it continues to spawn the unholy Locust that somehow grows in size and becomes a giant locust that towers even Heracles. There are about 100 giant locusts inside the room fighting our Servant while the Lord of Flies is on the backline doing something that I don't know what it is.

Without waiting any longer, I summon my Incinerate Anthem summons and order them to attack the Lord of Flies. When my summons got near Beelzebub, my Summon immediately burned it with the Holy Fire, but as they burned it, Beelzebub turned into a stone.

"What is…"

Before I could ask what was happening, the stone cracked and from the stone appeared the Lord of Flies, but this time in a different form. If the previous form looks like a fly, this time, it looks like a butterfly. Beelzebub also has a sickly green aura around it as if it was telling them that aura will be our poison.

Seeing the new form of Beelzebub, I order my summon to attack the Beelzebub once again. Seeing my summon charges at it, Beelzebub raises its staff, and suddenly a magic circle appears under its feet, and coming from it is a giant flying monster. The monster has the same feature with flies, and the difference is that the monster only has four legs, and it stands with its two legs while the other holds a weapon.

"Focus on Beelzebub, The one that has Holy Attribute should be focusing on Beelzebub."

After hearing my order, Artoria, Lily, and George began to run toward Beelzebub. I also saw some Fujimaru Ritsuka Servants start to run toward Beelzebub, including Jeanne D'arc. While the rest of the Servant dealing with the Giant monster that Beelzebub summoned.

We continue to fight for at least another 15 minutes before I see my Servant run toward me.

"What happened?"

"We should get out of here."

"What? Why?"

"Jeanne D'Arc wants to activate her Noble Phantasm and destroy this place in one go. The other Servant also activated their Noble Phantasm."

F*ck, I immediately ordered Heracles to take Fujimaru Ritsuka and the Little Eggplant Mashu with him as we began to run away from the room.

"What?!? Why are we running?!?"

"Jeanne and the others will activate their Noble Phantasm, so we need to run away from them, or we will be dead."

I get up to Lily Dun Stallion and get out of the room as fast as we can.

Jeanne looks at the vanishing figure in the distance and smiles a little before looking at her other counterpart.

"You don't want to say goodbye to him?"

"Hmph, I don't need to say anything to him."

"Hey, I guess this will be our last day. Will you call me Big Sister?"

"Never!"

"Aw.."

Jeanne summons her sword and is ready to pray for the last time. However, as she kneels on the ground, Jeanne hears Jalter say.

"Sister…"

Jeanne looked at her counterpart with a shocked expression and smiled at Jalter with her brightest smile.

"Hmph"

Jeanne chuckles a little at Jalter antic before kneeling to do her last prayer.

"O' Lord, I entrust this body to you—"

Suddenly her sword began to shine. As Jeanne started her prayer, the other Servant began to protect her by killing the monster that was coming toward Jeanne.

"The heavens tell of God's Glory."

"The skies proclaim His handiwork."

"Speeches poured forth during the day and knowledge during the night."

"A fire has ignited within my heart and continuously burn to remind me."

A fire then appears from the ground around Jeanne as she continues her prayer to God.

"This is where I meet my end."

"My destiny now runs its course."

"My life's dream has reached its conclusion."

"Utilizing the last thing I have left at my disposal."

"I fight to protect the path He must walk."

A fire began to rise around Jeanne like a ring of fire that was ready to attack the Demon Gods.

"Lord, accept my sacrifice."

A pillar of flame suddenly enveloped Jeanne, and after the fire vanished, her clothes had changed. Jeanne raises her sword toward Beelzebub and shows the bottom of the sword that opens up like a flower.

"La Pucelle"

The room then engulfed with fire, killing everyone inside the room. Before Jeanne faded, she looked at Jalter that also slowly faded into nothingness and said.

"It was a fun journey, Little Sister."
