chapter 9 "meeting point"

Khana took the first initiative.

She dashed with full speed towards Halym's direction. Four meters, three meters, two meters...she pulled her right hand and

Direct stab to the front.

Halym dodged to her left side, and used that chance to attack Khana.

When he thought he could deliver a punch, Khana already rotated her body with her right foot and taking a stance to do another attack.

-siiiing-

Another stab to Halym's head.

Halym dodged again and throwed punch to the front -whhut-

it missed.

Khana took a back step and ready to do another stab. Blue glowing light wrapped her body, that a sign of physical enhancement.

-fuuuh-

Khana took a breath and dashed foward without a single doubt in her eyes.

Halym also took stance and directed his energy flow to his right hand.

He also had physical enhancement and focused to his opponent.

Khana's figure dashed really fast in front of him, just like a big arrow that was flying towards him.

The distance between them became shorter and...

<SKY LINE>

A blue line with a huge pressure in the air was directed to Halym's direction.

That's Khana's signature, a straight stab with super speed and energy enhancement in the infinite aurora made it really strong and dangerous attack.

It's far stronger than Rhen's <DRAGON TUSK>.

The pressure of Khana's signature could be felt on his face.

Despite the dangerous attack in front of him, Halym kept calm and ready to counter it.

He prepared himself and..

Two signatures from high S rank fighter were clashed and made some tremor within the arena.

Both of the fighter were pushed back around one meter and they were taking their stance again.

People became really hype to see an intense fight only a few minutes from the match starting.

Both of the fighter showed their quality as S rank fighter.

"INCREDIBLE!!! such a beautiful sight from our fighters!!! i believe it will become more and more interesting!!!!"

The spectator lit the atmosphere.

Halym kept focused and he whispered to himself.

"sir Arva...? what's next?"

"hm, tanna filling"

Arva voice came from nowhere.

"-glup- as close as i can and counter with <LOTUS MARK>..... ok"

Khana dashed again towards him and ready to stab again.

Halym also dashed toward her, in fact, he moved faster than Khana and he was already in Khana's attack range.

Khana realized that and stabbed him without need to think twice about it.

Khana fully extended her right arm and she didn't see Halym in front of her.

She's too late to realize that Halym dodged to her right side and already took stance to deliver his signature. Within a split second, Khana pulled her hand and directed her infinite aurora's guard towards Halym's attack.

She's also take a defense stance to prepare taking the incoming attack.

A loud impact noise could be heard within the arena. Khana's flying for four meters, but she could regain her position back by back flipping a few times and landing beautifully on the ground.

"ONE SUCCESS ATTACK FROM ARVA!! that's showing the ability from our absolute king!!!!"

The spectator's word was responded enthusiastically. The first success attack came from Halym, and that's answered people's expectation.

"-fuuuh- super glad that sir Abhin and sir Arva can come with a plan...."

(14 hours before the match happen)

Arva was stretching in front of his shop.

It's 5:49 AM, but he already cleaned and prepared the shop.

He was doing his routine, meditated and controlled his energy flow.

He closed his eyes, tried to feel all the energy flow inside his body.

Crown, third eye, throat, heart, solar plexus. sacral, and root, all the energy sources responded to him.

All of it, except the strange energy source in his left leg, the 8th energy source.

"7800 kin... hm, i need to remember this body energy capacity"

He remembered how Jaron's attack successfully hit him yesterday.

If he wanted to do something freely, that problem was needed to be solved.

He saw his mother, sat in the shop while using her mantle.

The morning breeze was still relatively cold for most of the people in this hour.

Tyan rubbed her hands to get rid the cold.

"hm, it's still cold out here. You better rest inside the house"

Arva approached his mother.

"don't worry. I'm just enjoying my morning. Usually, Halym would still sleep around this hour, except there is a delivery. So i need to clean and prepare the shop every morning"

"hm, as long as i'm here, that will become my duty mother"

"ahaha, such a reliable son. I'm happy"

"that's only natural mother" Arva nodded

"then, you need to have your breakfast. To help you through this day"

"thank you mother. I'll have it after i check our shop preparation"

"hmm, just let me do that. You can have your breakfast my son"

"....if that is your wish mother. I'll do that"

"yes, i want you to have your breakfast" Tyan smiled

"understood"

Arva left the shop and headed towards the kitchen. Today he had hot mint tea and a baked bread with mixed fruit filling.

What made it unique was the baked bread shaped like doughnut so the mixed fruit filling was sandwiched between the crispy bread and had a hole in the middle. The mint tea was put in the glass pot so he poured it first to the cup.

He drank the mint tea first, to wake up all his senses. -slrup-

A fresh sensation from the combination from mint and the tea feel so refreshing.

He already learned there's no such a thing like section, so he just continued to eat the baked doughnut with mixed fruit filling.

Some sweet and little sour combination could be felt when he ate it.

"hm, it's a delicious breakfast"

Arva headed back to the shop.

Tyan was setting the steam-baked ACE and making sure the fillings ready.

"hm, let me hang the board"

Arva walked to the front of the shop.

He wouldn't repeat the same mistake like yesterday, so this time he did it right.

It's almost 7:00 AM, the customer would come any minute now.

His mother sat behind the counter table, so he would focus on the steam-baked ACE now.

Around 10 minutes past 7, people started to gather at their shop.

Smile bread shop offered a cheap and delicious breakfast for people in first tier of sunra's district, so their shop always crowded with customers.

Tyan was ready to serve the customers while Arva stand by at the steam-baked ACE.

"morning Lonphi. little Phin"

"morning Tyan, glad to see okay"

"moorning aunty Tyan!! i want a big bread with tanna filling!!"

"ahaha, you're never bored with tanna filling Phin?"

"never!! it's delicious!!! ehehe"

"calm down Phin. Ok Tyan, i want two tanna filling and one mixed vegetable"

"understood mother"

Arva already knew how to make the bread larger now, so he was ready to take little Phin's order.

He pressed the dough breads before putting it in the steam-baked ACE. He waited for 7 minutes and the orders are ready.

He put them in the baking sheet.

"here Lonphi, it's 30 en"

"thank you Tyan"

"see you aunty Tyan!!"

One after another, customers kept coming to their shop. That's another normal day at smile bread shop. The delicious baked shop in the first tier of Sunra's district.

Arva's SAI was ringing. It's from Abhin.

"mother, can I answer this call?"

"sure my son. there's no customer at the moment"

"thank you mother"

Arva went to the living room and picked up the call.

"hm, Abhin. What's wrong?"

"we want to talk about our plan right? and....."

"and?"

"err. there's another problem. Anyway, i'll go with Halym to your place"

"hm, got it"

Abhin ended his call. Arva back to the shop for helping his mother.

"my son, i want to prepare for the lunch. Can you watch our shop?"

"of course mother"

"ok then. Thank you"

Tyan raised from her chair and headed towards the kitchen.

Arva sat and stand by at the counter.

It's 11:20 PM now, and there's no sign of customer at the street.

For a few minutes, a quiet situation at Sunra's district became Arva's companion.

Not for long, a EBW engine sound could be heard. -whiiiinng-

A yellow motor type EBW stopped in the front of the shop.

A man with hood covered his face got off from the EBW and walked towards the shop.

He stopped at the front of the counter.

"welcome, can i help you sir....."

Arva stopped his words.

"....."

"hm, i don't expect you will come here.. Kerly"

The man took off his hood and showed his face.

He stared Arva for a few minutes, and then he smiled.

"yup!! this is Ar that i know, haha" Wen laughed

(wake up..... training..... no need..... rest...)

Halym opened his eyes.

His head felt a little heavy and his body told him to get up.

"-kkgggh- why i'm feel dizzy....maybe because some many problems that i countered yesterday.."

(actually, the blue drink that he drank yesterday was an expensive wine from little blue fruit. It contained alcohol)

Halym woke up from his bed and did some stretching. He meditated and tried to feel his energy flow in his body.

It's still 5:50 AM, but Halym knew that he couldn't continue his sleep because Arva's voice in his head kept telling him to wake up.

"nothing's wrong.. -fuuh- sparring with miss Khana...she is S rank fighter.. more over, number three.."

Halym remembered his sparring with Rhen yesterday. He almost died if Nanika didn't come on time, and Rhen was only an A rank fighter.

Now he must sparred with S rank fighter? He totally didn't know how to handle that.

"young master, can i come in?"

"sure, go ahead Nanika"

The door open. Nanika came in and did a bow gesture to her young master.

"good morning young master. Breakfast will ready at 7:00 AM. Anything that you need before that will be taken care by me, head maid"

Nanika confirmed her duty.

"i'll training. Prepare the training room Nanika"

"understood"

Halym left first to the training room.

He already remembered the way to that room ,so he didn't need to wait for Nanika like yesterday. Meanwhile, Nanika made sure that her young master's room was cleaned.

The training's door was opened.

Halym came in and get down to the lower ground.

He opened the crimson eater's box and stared it for a few minutes.

"i need to figure out how to active this gear first..... if i want to have a chance against miss Khana.."

He put crimson eater and tried to convey some energy into it.

The "blooming" mode acted as a sign that Halym's energy was flowing into it.

"just like yesterday....maybe the energy output is not enough?"

Halym added more energy output to the crimson eater. 10%, 15%, 20%. when suddenly he realized something. A blue circle was coming from the crimson eater's core and it was getting larger everytime he adding more energy output into it.

The air was showed a pressure caused by the blue circle.

Of course, this blue circle was not visible by bare eyes, you needed to use your third eye energy source to see that, but Arva natural gift made it possible.

"woahh, to think energy is worked like this..."

He tried to swing his arms, some punches, to see how that would affect his attack.

There's no significant effect, so maybe he needed to do it with an object.

"i'll try this with the shadow target"

"young master, all preparation is finished. I'm setting all the parameter like the training yesterday. You can start anytime"

Nanika's voice could be heard from the interface.

"ok, let's start"

He took stance and focused at the opponent.

Twenty shadows appeared and surrounded him.

This time, Halym knew how to control his body, only a little, but it's definitely better than yesterday.

He could feel all the energy within the shadow targets.

It started with Halym dashed to the nearest shadow target.

The shadow moved to the left to evade Halym, and -buugh-

Halym attacked it with a perfect timing.

He continued his attack to the next shadow by doing side-jump and kicking it.

It flew for one meter and it's gone.

Two shadows attacked him from different side with their claw, and another shadow started to approach him.

He dodged the attack and countered it with a spinning kick.

A shadow prepared to fire an energy blast.

Halym noticed it and took a few steps to the back for giving him a proper distance.

"ok...here it is..."

He prepared his gear.

An energy blast went really fast towards his direction. Halym took a stance like he did yesterday, but now he had a different plan.

-whuung-

Crimson gear responded to the energy that was flowed to it and blue cirlce was formed on its gauntlet.

"-fuuh- hyaa!!!"

Halym punched the energy blast.

-boooom-

The energy blast crashed with Halym's attack and vanish.

It's not countered, but at least this time Halym wasn't gotten hit by it.

"i failed to counter it.... but at least i can activate this gear now!"

Halym praised himself.

He continued the training.

He parried, he dodged, he attacked, he did all that was necessary to survive a sparring with Khana.

Halym was super focused this morning.

"your energy output is 10-30%, energy flow 30-40 lof, and the total shadow targets defeated are 55. This is a better result from yesterday training, but not your best, young master"

Nanika reported this morning training's result.

Halym sat on the ground and straighten up his legs.

He felt tired even tho this kind of training barely using Arva's energy capacity.

"-fuuuh- i'm totally making some progress here... but why i feel this wouldn't be enough to face miss Khana?" Halym sighed

"breakfast will ready in 20 minutes young master"

"ok, i'll take a bath first"

"understood. I'll prepare it young master" Nanika bowed

Halym stood and put crimson gear in its box. He was heading upstair and saw Nanika still there.

"what's wrong Nanika?"

"i want to inform that sir Wen want to meet you after breakfast"

"....o..ok let him know i will meet him after breakfast"

"understood"

Nanika left the room first to prepare the bathroom. Meanwhile Halym stood there, tried to figure his problem with Wen.

His SAI ringed. Abhin was calling.

"morning sir Abhin!"

"morning Halym! does miss Khana tell you when you're gonna spar with her?"

"ah..i forget to check my mail. Let me do that for a second"

"ok"

Halym opened his mail interface at the top right corner of his SAI.

He was seeing Khana's mail in his inbox. He opened the mail, and saw for the time.

"whaaa..... the language is so formal.. time....time.... ah! here it is"

He opened Abhin's call interface again.

"sir Abhin, i know the time"

"good, let me hear it"

"it's 7:00 PM, at FATE main arena"

"7? -fuuuh- we've time then!! prepare yourself, i'll pick you up around 11:00 AM"

"11.. ok got it"

"ok then, see ya Halym"

"ok sir Abhin"

The call was ended.

Halym started heading to the bathroom.

Nanika already stand by there in the corner. Halym changed his clothes. He already used to it.

The warm and fresh sensation covered his whole body.

"haaaah.. this is really fresh...Kerly want to meet...crap.."

He closed his eyes, and tried to find a solution.

Wen problem, sparring with Khana, this swap body with Arva... all of that really made his head dizzy.

Suddenly he rised from the bathtub. He showed an enlightened face.

"just take Kerly to see sir Arva!! and that's will solve one problem! ahaha"

He dipped into the bathtub again and spent 5 minutes like that.

He changed into a casual clothes and headed to the dining room.

Aswara was still not there. Only Saghi there, stood near her master's chair.

"good morning young master Arva"

Saghi did a bow gesture.

"ah. good morning, Father's not here yet?"

"master still prepare in his room. Inna is handling that matter"

"i see.."

"please wait here young master. Breakfast will ready in five minutes"

Nanika pulled the chair for her young master.

"o..ok"

Halym sat there and waited for his father. Around four minutes later, Aswara entered the room with Inna following behind him.

Saghi pulled the chair for him. After he sat, the breakfast begin.

It started from appetizer section.

Some of android maids brought the appetizer to the table.

They brought an elegant lotus shaped bowl and put it on the table.

Halym could see a beautiful crimson color reflected from the soup surface. A sweet and fresh aroma could be felt from it.

After they put it on the table, the android maids left and the rest was taken care by the androdynes.

Saghi put the napkin, Inna prepared the spoon and other little detail.

Nanika also did her duty as the head maid and Halym (Arva)'s personal maid. She did all the task with fast and elegant.

"the red lotus soup is ready master"

Saghi told Aswara.

"the red lotus soup is ready young master"

Nanika did the same.

Halym took his spoon and tried the soup.

A sweet fragrance and sensation filled his mouth.

The soup was very light and it gave a little mint sensation.

"woahh, this is relly nice. It boost my mood"

Halym enjoyed his soup.

Aswara finished his soup and looked to his son.

He waited until Halym finished his soup then he asked him.

"so.. the party last night is one of your weird principle? you will do what you want?"

"wha... principle? i don't understand.."

Halym struggling in his mind.

"Father.. i came as Sahasrara representative.. is there something wrong?"

"...and that's sparring? you do realize with what you did back there? i really don't understand you..."

"that's...."

"-sigh- whatever. I'll remember your promise. Once you fail me, you will do what i want"

"un..understood father"

Halym totally didn't understand what his father said.

In that moment, some android maids brought them their main section.

Two trays with lotus decoration lid were brought by the maids.

After they put it, the three androdynes did they duty again.

They opened the tray and prepared the plate.

On the tray, a combination between fresh salmon and tanna meats that were arranged like lotus with a bright color from fried egg in the middle of it could be seen. The meats were seasoned with salt, pepper, and little amount of honey on top of it.

"main section for today breakfast is three color lotus" Inna annouced the food's name.

Nanika took a portion of the food and put it on the plate.

After served the food with the necessary cutlery, Nanika back to her position at Halym's back.

"i'm pretty sure this tanna's meat is not the same with one at Sunra's district"

Halym tried the fresh salmon meat first.

When he took it with his fork, the texture of the meats show its quality. The softness was plainly seen and the juice from it made it better.

"wooahhh, what's this feeling.."

In his mouth, a fresh cold and sweet taste dance.

The perfect seasoning with honey completed the taste of fresh salmon meat.

After that, Halym tried the combination between tanna meat and fried egg. The richness of the flavor suprised him again.

"mmmm, it's really delicious"

Halym ate his breakfast really fast.

After the main section finished, some android maids brought two little plates with dessert.

Like before, they put it on the table and it was served by the androdynes.

"the dessert for this morning, lotus petals"

Saghi announced the dessert's name.

Halym looked at front of him.

He could see a purple colored biscuits with a purple jam as its decoration.

The biscuits were shaped like lotus, quite interesting.

A crispy sound could be heard.

The purple jam provided a sweet and fresh taste. It's completed all the breakfast section for this morning.

"I'm finished"

Aswara wiped his mouth and prepared to leave the dining room.

Saghi and Inna were following from behind. When near Halym, he stopped for a while.

"tonight sparring match.... I assume you won't fail me Arva"

He continued his way.

Halym still didn't have a clue what will happen tonight, or what he already did by accepting Khana's sparring invitation.

"-fuuh- I'm finished"

Halym also finished his breakfast.

"should I call sir Wen that you are ready to meet him, young master?"

Nanika gave her suggestion.

"ah, no need for that. I'll call him by myself"

"understood"

Halym left the dining room and he walked to his room. In the corridor, he opened his SAI and searched for Wen's name.

Halym didn't need more time to find Wen in Arva SAI contact list.

There was a one group named "friend(?)". Obviously, only Abhin and Wen name were in there.

"why there is a (?) mark in the group name..."

Halym still couldn't understand Arva's mind.

Only needed two second for Wen to answer his call.

"yo Ar!! I mean... whatever. So you're ready to tell me?"

"sure Kerl..... sir Wen. But, I think we should do this outisde the mansion.. what do you think?"

"mmmmm... that's make sense. Ok, let's go out then"

"o..ok. Let's meet at the basement"

The call was ended.

Halym went to his room for changing his clothes and then he went down to the basement.

The elevator door opened.

Halym could see Wen waited near the elevator and using yellow hoodie jacket and long casual pant.

"go..good morning sir Wen"

"ah, yo! morning.. what I should call you? I mean.. you're not Ar..."

"...Halym, you can call me Halym sir Wen"

"Halym? ok then. Where are we gonna go?"

"can I leave that to you? I still don't know anything about upper city.."

"is that so? ok then. Let's use my EBW"

Halym followed Wen to his EBW parking location.

He could see a motor type EBW with yellow dominant color.

Wen turned on the engine and gave a sign that he was ready to go.

Halym got onto Wen's EBW and they were leaving the mansion.

They were heading to Bharna district.

It's the district where people who believed with mother of origin and its teaching.

The "origin" was the way of life that was believed by all the pople in the country.

Most of the building design in the Bharna district was complex with many ornaments on it.

Many trees and plants on the sideways. This place gave you a relaxing and comfortable feeling.

"we will arrive shortly"

"o..ok"

After a few minutes, Wen stopped his EBW in front of a cafe.

It was dominated by red color, from its design and decoration.

"heaven fish" that's the cafe name.

Wen parked his EBW and went to the inside, and Halym followed him.

They took their seat near the window, and android waiter approached them.

"may i take your order?"

"hmm, i'll go with ice black tea. How about you Halym?"

"just mineral water.."

"confirmed. Please wait"

The android waiter left them.

"...so who are you? where's the real Ar?"

"-fuuh- i really don't understand what's really happen... but here what sir Arva said.."

Halym told Wen from the beginning.

From the crashed, the clinic, how Arva transfered his core energy, the swap body incident, until the temporary plan that was made by Abhin.

Wen listened to all of that carefully.

The android waiter brought their order and after that they continued the conversation.

Haylm tried to tell every detail that he remembered.

He was feeling by telling all of it will make the problem with Wen become easier.

It's almost 10:00 AM when finally Halym finished his story.

Wen just sat there, he looked into one spot on the table.

Clearly, he still tried to think all of Halym's story.

"that's...all I know"

"mmm.. judging from Ar capability, that energy core transfer should be possible. Ahahaha, but in the end there's always something interesting that's happen right?"

"interesting..... I don't know if that's a correct term.."

"well! at least I know Ar is okay, and you're not my enemy -smile-"

"you..believe with all that I said?"

"hm? of course. It make sense. That explained why you have Ar appearance but not his aura"

"aura..as long you understand.. then it's great. -fuuh- glad this is not getting worse"

"ahahaa. Ok then, time to meet Ar!!"

"me and sir Abhin will go to meet sir Arva. We will meet at 11:00 PM"

Halym sent his house address to Wen SAI.

"thank you. Where are you gonna meet red swallow? need me to get you there?"

"sir Abhin didn't mention it.. I think I will wait here"

"hmm, ok then. See you in the lower city then"

Wen stand up and waved his hand to Halym.

Wen left the cafe.

Halym felt awkward. He could feel all the people attention was heading towards him.

"sir Arva is really popular...should use something to cover my face... ugh"

He still needed to wait for around one hour.

So he decided to watch some of Khana's fighting video, he needed to know about his opponent for tonight.

"ten whispering sky perfect moment FATE tournament part 1... whispering sky? ah maybe that's miss Khana fighter nick name"

Halym watched that video.

It showed some moments where Khana sucessfully dodged her opponent attack and countered it.

Her agility was showed perfectly in the video. It also gave Halym a picture how strong Khana Vishuddha was.

"she's so fast... I wonder if I can dogde her attack.. -sigh- I hope sir Abhin can come up with a plan.."

He spent his time by keeping watched Khana's fighting video.

"ahahaha! whoaa, you're really Ar! so this is Halym's body? it's totally the opposite of your real body!"

Wen was in the high tension.

"hm, so you already know the situation Kerly?"

"yeah, just heard it one hour ago. There's a possibility for him to lie, so I check it here"

Arva got curious.

Wen looked at Arva. He showed him a menu with no expression.

He realized he's not having lunch yet, so he decided to take the menu.

Wen sat on the customer chair and waited for his bread.

Not for long, Tyan came up from the kitchen and told Arva that the lunch was ready.

"there's customer at this hour? usually they buy our bread for breakfast or before dinner"

Wen showed his sad face.

Tyan surprised and leaned her body toward Wen.

"you talked with my son? how's he?!"

Tyan patted Arva head.

"sure aunty! it super hard to get chance for having lunch with Ar! usually he lunch with boss or important guess!"

Wen went inside the house.

Just when Arva wanted to close the shop, another EBW came and parked in front of the shop.

Halym's expression slightly changed. He felt weird when Arva call his mom "mother", tho he knew that was happen because Arva was inside his body right now. But still....

"hm, i forgot to tell you that Kerly is also here"

Abhin started to accept it.
