Zayden's eyes widened in shock as he struggled to process what was happening. Zara had been here all along, and he hadn't even sensed her presence. It felt strange to him.
But why had she called out Anna? There was no way she could have seen the illusion of Anna, right?
Zayden's heart raced, and each thought sent his mind into a frenzy.
He glanced at Elysia, whose brows were furrowed at Zara's sudden interference.
Elysia marched forward elegantly to where Zara lay unconscious and lowered herself beside her.
"What are you doing?" Zayden questioned, holding Elysia's hand, his eyes blazing with anger—a look that clearly communicated, 'Don't you dare touch my possessions.'
"She saw Anna's illusion! Of course, I want to erase her memory," Elysia said with a grin, noticing Zayden's anger.
Zayden tightened his grip on Elysia's hand as he gritted his teeth. "Don't touch her," he growled, his eyes filled with fierce possessiveness.
