You heard footsteps behind you turning you met one of Asgard's princes. Loki stood behind you. Curtsying you rose without the customary greeting. "Is that blood?"
"No?"
"Typically, that's not a question you're supposed to answer with another question." He smirked at you, the blood standing out against the green. "What did you do this time?"
"Nothing for you to worry about, my dear." You rolled your eyes. There was a sudden crash and guards entered your chambers and escorted the pair of you to two jail cells. You were placed in one and Loki was placed in another. "I did not do anything! It was all, Loki." He chuckled. "Thanks, darling." You rolled your eyes, muttering. "This is all your fault."
"I hope so. We could break out of these and go on the run." He suggested. "I would rather be pecked to death by a flock of hummingbirds." You quipped. He smirked, the doors opened, and Frigga walked in. She released you. "I do apologise, I am sorry, Lady L/N. The guards received the wrong message. You were both supposed to be brought in front of Odin and myself." She released Loki from his cell. "Thank you, my queen." You curtsied. "Why were we to be brought in front of you and father?" Loki questioned. "You two are too be married." She said happily. Your eyes widened, and Loki stood shocked. "Why?" The ungraceful question tumbled out before you could stop it.
"Your father, Y/N and Odin as well as myself think this match would be good for Asgard. Your father has offered to supply troops to help protect and serve Asgard in exchange for your marriage to prince Loki. Of course, he wanted you to marry Thor, but Thor has Jane and I am not willing to break that union. Therefore, you will marry Loki. I will leave the two of you to get acquainted." She smiled and left the two of you standing dumbfounded. Loki smirked, and took your hand in his raising it to his lips and kissing it gently. "My love." He mocked. You gave a half-hearted smile before removing your hand from his and you turned to leave. "Should we not get acquainted like my dear mother suggests? I mean we are to be married after all." He gave a charming smile. You gave a disarming one and for a moment he forgot to breath. "Just because we are getting married does not mean I will follow you blindly I will follow what I believe to be the right path." He watched as you walked away, your robes flowing around you. He grinned he knew of your powers and he knew how he could use that to his advantage.
