My Valentine

"Ready to dance with me?" Max asked as he opened the door for Jade as they arrived at the college.

Jade wrapped her arms around Max's arm with a smile. "Are you so sure there's a dance at this party?"

"Well, of course, there is. And I can't wait to dance with you."

With smiles and glances from some of her college friends who saw Jade with another man, she kept walking to find out where the four of her friends were.

"They're there," Max whispered to her.

"You read my mind, didn't you?" Jade asked.

Max immediately stopped his steps and looked at his girlfriend. "Jade ... I haven't told you yet. I can't read your mind. I'm just guessing from the way you look."

"H-how could that be? Didn't you say that you have the gift of reading people's minds?"

"You're the exception. From the first time I saw you, I couldn't see your mind," Max replied.

"Hey, Jade!" Carla's screams that always called her made Jade and Max distracted. Jade and Max immediately walked towards them. She smiled and her grip on Max's arm tightened.

"Hi! This is Max ... Max, these are my friends," Jade said, introducing her friends to Max.

Even though Max already knew, he still greeted them as if he had just met them.

Carla and Kesha were stunned to see Max. Of course, anyone will be stunned and fascinated by Max's good looks, which look much different from Dave or Wales or other men.

"Happy Valentine again, Jade," Dave suddenly appeared and kissed Jade on the cheek.

But Max still couldn't get used to it. Even though he had been watching Dave for a long time who was always kissing Jade on the cheek secretly, Max was filled with jealousy.

Feeling the tension in Max's body, Jade looked directly at him. Then she pulled Max further away from her friends and looked at him to speak.

"What's the matter, Max? Are you bothered by something?" Jade asked.

Max nodded immediately. He doesn't need to hide how he feels about his jealousy.

"Dave ... I hate that guy. He always takes the opportunity to kiss you when you're off guard. Even his mind is full of shit," Max explained.

Jade was relieved that at least it wasn't something that harmed her. However, this was the first time Jade had felt Max's jealousy.

Hearing the word 'forever', Max immediately looked at Jade. The gaze full of love is so clear. The look in his eyes showed how much he loved Jade.

Max nodded. He gently stroked Jade's cheek. Then the party started and they started dancing with the others.

Following the music, Max and Jade danced with their eyes looking at each other. "Getting to dance with you is my luck, Jade," Max said.

"Oh, stop. You're going to make me fly again with your beautiful words, Max," Jade chuckled.

"I was getting all the things I was thinking when I didn't dare to talk to you," he said.

"Hmm ... I see? Then just take out what's necessary."

"Everything needs to be taken out. But I'll pick the right one to take out this Valentine's Day."

Jade smiled. She spun to the beat of the song and then came back into contact with Max. Max's two hands were on her waist and Max didn't even look away.

"Every night, I always come to your house. See you and protect you and Zack from things that harm you," said Max.

Jade thought her father didn't need the guard Max said. Because according to what she knew from Max, her father is a vampire hunter, of course, Zack already had an antidote to keep vampires away from her and himself.

But the part where Max always checks on her every night, makes it seem like she's being followed by a stalker. But it was nice to hear that it was her vampire boyfriend who did all that.

"You always sleep in your sexy clothes and always look beautiful with your brown hair," Max said.

Randomly, Max said what he wanted to say. Jade will also respond to what she hears.

"Do I look ugly when I sleep?" Jade asked.

"I said you look beautiful in your sleep. Not all girls look like that, Jade. You're the lucky one," Max said.

Of course, she smiled hearing how often Max gave her beautiful words. She became used to it and was pleased to hear beautiful things from him. Her first experience finding a man who was so romantic to her makes her always fly.

"You even frequently fall asleep in class," Max said.

"Oh ... Now the worst part," Jade replied.

"But to me it's adorable. Your golden eyes are so different when you wake up from your slumber in class." Max smiled at her. "Even at night, your eyes are so beautiful."

"Max, stop. You'll only embarrass me."

Jade swallowed her saliva. This time Max's words sounded so serious. Max had had feelings for her for a long time. While she was only overnight so quickly lulled with madness.

"What do you think, Jade? Tell me," Max asked, looking at her.

The whisper sounded so passionate and Jade felt her body tremble when she heard that.

"And I love you, Jade. You are the most beautiful gift on my Valentine's Day in a long time. You are my valentine."

Jade looked at him with love and gratitude. She doesn't care whether her boyfriend is a vampire. All she cares about is only she with him now.
