Luke's Worrying Search For His Wife
Freya knew that she had to figure out how to escape. She didn't try to escape on their way there because she needed to see the place they were hiding at, and to give Trevor enough time to drive Alice to Luke.
If she had tried escaping, Dr. David could have sent a monster to take Alice again or kill her before they reached Luke. Oh, Luke. Her Luke. She wondered how he was taking the news of her surrender.
Luke was inside his office at Walters Inc., working on his computer as he sat at his desk when he heard a knock on his office door. He looked up from the computer, "Come in."
Trevor walked in, holding Alice's hand. Alice looked like she had been crying as her eyes looked red and puffy. As she saw him, she ran towards him as she cried out, "Daddy!"
Luke stood up from his desk and met her on her way around his desk. He picked her up, and she wrapped her arms around his neck, looking sacred. He turned to Trevor and asked, "What happened, Trevor?"
