Exam Fear

The day of semester finally arrived...
Siyi prepared herself to give her best in the examination...
But she studied late night to finish her syllabus and hence, she felt dizzy...
Ray waited for her downstairs in order to accompany her to school...
"Can't you walk faster??" asked Ray noticing Siyi walking slowly.
Ray found Siyi looking sick...
"What happened?? Are you sick??" asked Ray again.
"Nothing!! Its just... Last night, I studied late and couldn't get enough sleep..." answered Siyi.
"Don't you know you have exams today?? Are you dumb?? Who told you to study so late before exams??" Ray scolded Siyi.
"Okay! Okay! Stop scolding me...
I'm already sick... Don't scold me anymore please..." Siyi spoke in a tired tone.
"You're right... I shouldn't scold you...
It's my fault...
I shouldn't have tutored you wasting my time... Its all in vain now..."
Ray went to school leaving Siyi alone after speaking to her harshly...
Siyi felt upset after getting scolded by Ray...
"Today I must do well in my exams... I'll show you Ray that I'm not dumb...
Siyi!! Fighting!!" Siyi encouraged herself.
The examination started...
Siyi looked at the question paper thoroughly...
But after sometimes, the questions looked blur...
Siyi tried to read again, but she couldn't...
Within few seconds, she lost her consciousness and fell down...
When she woke up, she found herself at the infirmary...
"Saem (Teacher) !! What happened to me" Siyi asked her school nurse.
"Siyi!! You shouldn't have come to give the examination if you were not feeling well... See now, what happened!!
You are lucky that Ray caught you when you fainted... Or else you might have hit your head while falling down... And it would have been critical then...
Your class teacher was in such shock after seeing your condition that she couldn't think of any way...
Thanks to Ray that he carried you all along on his back to the infirmary... "
The school nurse explained to Siyi.
Siyi was surprised after listening to her... She thought Ray was mad upon her, but she never thought Ray could be so caring and thoughtful, even though she had already felt his warmth...
"Saem!! What about my exam??" asked Siyi.
"Your class teacher has already talked to the head teacher about your condition... So you don't have to worry...
You'll be given a chance to take the re-test..."
The school nurse consoled Siyi with her words.
Siyi felt relaxed after listening to her...
"Saem!! Since I'm in good condition now, can I go home??" asked Siyi.
"But Siyi!! You just got back your consciousness... Will you be okay to go back home alone??" asked the school nurse.
"No need to go alone... I'll accompany you to your home..."
Ray suddenly entered the infirmary and spoke out.
"Siyi stays near my home... So I'll drop her while returning back home..."
Ray told the school nurse to assure her.
"That's good then...
Siyi!! You go home with Ray...
And don't forget to take good rest after reaching home..." said the school nurse.
Siyi nodded her head and walked out with Ray...
On their way back home, all of a sudden Ray held Siyi's school bag, which she was wearing and pulled her towards him...
"Walk along with me... And don't fall again...
I don't have the energy to carry you once again...
And another thing... Try to eat less...
You're too much heavier than you look..." spoke Ray to Siyi, making fun of her.
"I didn't ask you to carry me... You carried me on your own...
Don't blame me now..." spoke Siyi annoyingly in a childish tone and passed Ray by walking faster.
Suddenly she stopped and turned back...
"However... Thank you for saving me..." Siyi spoke quickly and ran away to reach home before Ray.
Ray gave a pleasing smile by watching her childishness and continued walking...
After returning home, Siyi took rest... But in her mind, she kept on thinking about Ray...
Suddenly Ray entered the room...
Siyi got up and asked, "Ray!! What happened?? Do you need something??"
Ray got on her bed...
He came closer to her and spoke, "I need you... Siyi!!"
Siyi raised her eyebrows and kept staring at him in amazement...
She gulped her saliva in nervousness...
Ray kept on coming closer to her...
She closed her eyes in anxiety and then, she heard someone calling her...
"Siyiii!!!!...."
She suddenly opened her eyes and got up...
"Omoo!! It was a dream....." spoke out Siyi in shock.
Ray's mother knocked the door and entered...
"Siyi!! Dinner is ready... Quickly wash up and come down..." spoke Ray's mother and went down.
"What's wrong with me!!!
How can I see such a dream???
Eeeuuu...."
Siyi spoke to herself in embarrassment.
"Okay! Okay! Forget it!!!
Siyi!! Calm down!! Don't think much...
Ray is just helping me because of our family relationship...
Don't think nonsense..."
Siyi murmured to assure herself regarding her relationship with Ray.
She got up and went to dine after washing up... But she couldn't focus on her dinner as she felt nervous and kept on gazing at Ray...
"What happened Siyi?? You are not so focused on dining...
Is the food not good??" asked Ray's mother watching her not eating much.
"Omaa!! She has gained much weight...
That's why she's on diet..."
Ray spoke to his mother.
"What?? Siyi!! My child!!
This is the age when you should eat more and gain more nutrition... It's not good for you to diet at your age...
Morover, you are not fat at all... You are in good shape...
Don't ruin your health by dieting...
Come on!! Eat more..." spoke Ray's mother and served Siyi more food.
Siyi nodded her head and gazed furiously at Ray...
Ray chuckled a bit and continued eating...
The next day, Siyi was meant to appear the re-test...
How will her examination go?? Can she finish her exam successfully with good grades or will she face another hurdle??
