A frown came on his face, and he bowed his head just as a tiny girl placed her palm on her forehead, pouring tears from her eyes.
His mind wondered how he was going to calm the crying girl. He really couldn't deal with a child in this company. Besides, he began to wonder if the girl was a stray kid or it was one of his workers who had brought her.
"Seriously, who let a kid in the company?" Jordan growled as he approached the girl, recognizing some attributes that made her appear familiar.
The severe furrow on his brow gradually faded as he crouched to meet the girl's height.
"Hey, it is you," Jordan said, causing Anna to stop crying.
She raised her head, recognizing the familiar eyes staring at her as Anna's sullen expression quickly brightened.
"Hey, Uncle Jordan!" Anna exclaimed eagerly, then stepped closer to Jordan and gave him a hug on the neck, which surprised Jordan off guard.
