The Last Breath - Chapter 7

After holding my breath for the whole meeting, it finally ended. After all the councils left, I breathe out a sigh of relief, I look over at Mona who also looked relief, the atmosphere was so intense even Mona was scared. Lucifer puts his finger under my chin and lifts it up gently, I smile and give him a quick peck on his soft lips. Mona just glared in disgust as Cain pulled him closer to his chest, I let out a small giggle but see in the corner of my eye a figure. I turn and see one of the councils still standing there, glaring at me and Mona.

"Is there something you need?" Lucifer said with a low growl as he pulled me closer to him, Cain did the same thing to Mona. "No your majesty, I'll be leaving now, good day to you," the council said politely as he bowed and walked away, I could've sworn I saw him gritting his teeth. I dismiss it and turn my attention to Mona, I see his arms were wrapped around Cain's neck as he breathed slowly, he was almost so relaxed.

Lucifer pulled me tighter into the hug and turned smaller, his clothes also shrunk in size and it was absolutely adorable. "Who knew you and Cain could be so intense?" I said while giving a small giggle, "No formalities... already? How bold....Micheal," Cain said. I blushed and fumbled to find words, "Kidding," Cain said as he focused his attention back to the sleeping Mona. "Let's get out of here and hang around the garden, I don't think these chairs are the best," Lucifer suggested, both of them got up and teleported to the garden. Cain was holding onto Mona like a sleeping child held by its mother, I slowly get down from Lucifer's grip.

I stared in awe at all the variety of flowers, all of them were so beautiful, I see a field of flowers and instantly jump into it, I rolled around the flower field and giggled. I see Lucifer kneeling on one knee above me as he pushed the strands of stray hair away, I smile sweetly at him. I decided I was going to spend my life in Hell, I couldn't preach about God since I technically belong to the devil and it would be toxic to do so to people who truly love God.

Today we were gonna visit Earth and I'm gonna write a note to Mark about leaving. I was gonna disappear from Earth, I was gonna miss Mark so badly, we are the best of friends and its hard to leave him. Lucifer lend me a hand and pulled me up, I hugged him tightly and suddenly....

SPLASH!!

I felt cold all of a sudden, I couldn't feel anyone or anything around me, all I felt was coldness. I felt a weight pulling me down, then a voice..... "YOU'RE THE REASON WHY THE PRINCE IS SO WEAK!" a voice shouted. I felt pain all over my body, it felt as if a whip was hitting me over and over again. I tried to scream, but my head was underwater. My body wasnt listening to me, I felt my breath become heavy and desperate, I tried to find a way out but I couldn't.

Micheal....Micheal.....

A voice that sounded so far yet so close called me, I felt my body move a bit. The voice got louder.

Micheal! MICHEAL!

I felt something wet on my cheek, I felt a warmth around my body but the coldness was still there. I heard more voices....

"Prince Lucifer should've never liked you!"

"A mere human like you doesn't deserve him!"

"You're useless!"

I felt the pain again, every lash and every hit hurt more and more, but it doesn't compare to the pain in my heart. I felt something shaking me, like they're trying to wake me up, I felt something dripping on me....

Drip... Drip.... Drip... Drip

Was it raining? I don't know....I pried open my eyes and saw a light, a light fading into the distance. I could move and I reached up to try to reach the light, I looked around and saw darkness. I started swimming, and swimming.... I moved as fast as I can, no matter how much pain it causes, no matter how tired I was, I needed to see Lucifer.

As I got closer to the light, I reached out and heard a voice.

"What do you truly desire?"

My eyes shot opened, my eyes were puffy and blurry from tears, my breathing was heavy, my vision started clearing and I saw 3 figures around me. Lucifer was clutching me against his chest as Mona and Cain looked at me worriedly. He was crying, that explained the wetness I felt, I noticed it was raining too surprisingly. Who knew Hell had rain?

I raised my hands to his cold cheek and caressed it gently while smiling. He looked at me and hugged me even tighter, I hugged back. "I-i-i-i wish so worried.....Y-y-you became s-so pale and Y-you were crying...you wouldn't wake up...Your heart w-was slowing down...." Lucifer said as he stuttered, his breath hitched as he tried to form words.

"I'm back now," I said as I hugged him tighter. Lucifer started sobbing like crazy and I clutched him tighter, Cain teleported us back to our room and set me and Lucifer on the bed, I reluctantly let go of Lucifer and went and hugged Mona and Cain too.

Cain's normal expressionless face was replaced with worry, Mona was on the verge of tears. I heard a low growl behind and saw Lucifer's eyes turn red, I smiled and giggled, at least he stopped crying. I decided to try to lighten the mood by teasing him a bit, I hugged them tighter and closed off the remaining distance. Bad choice

I felt Lucifer rip me away from them and hugged me protectively. Cain smiled and teleported out of the room with Mona for our privacy, he smiled! I could throw whole party for Cain smiling for the first time but first I needed to handle the beast hugging me.

I turn around slowly and saw Lucifer glaring at me, not good. I let out a nervous laugh and was about to open my mouth to speak up but he took this opportunity to kiss me deeply. It turned heated and desperate, he pushed me back onto the bed as my arm snaked around his neck. His hands trailed up and down my sides as he slowly pulled the hem of my shirt up. I let out a small whimper and felt a grin, we parted to breathe, I was a little sad at the loss of his lips but it soon came back.

We kissed again but more desperate and needy, he rips off me shirt and I whimpered at the sudden coldness that hit my skin, we parted again and he wasted no time to start to kiss my neck, he trailed kisses and bite marks across my neck. He bit and nibble to try to find my sweet spot, he stopped and bit one particular area, I moaned lightly.

He immediately grinned and bit the spot over and over again, abusing the spot. My hands gripped the sheets as my back arched lightly as I tried my best to restrain sounds that are better off not being heard.

"Don't hold back, I want to hear scream and moan you make, no one will hear us..." Lucifer whispered beside my ear. He continued trailing kisses all over my body and he slowly pulled down my pants, I blushed and tried to cover myself with my arm in embarrassment.

He growled and pried my hands away, pinning them down, he slowly trailed kisses up and down my thighs, he stopped at my inner thighs and nipped it. I moaned immediately and he continued nipping at my inner thigh, he slowly took off his shirt.....

The next morning, I woke up sore as hell, I couldn't move. I blushed as all the memories of last night rushed back, I couldn't believe we did it. Lucifer groaned and kissed me on the forehead, whispering a 'good morning'. I blushed and whispered a 'good morning' back to him, his morning voice was just heavenly.

We stayed snuggled up together until Mona came barging into our room, "HELP ME MI--" Mona yelled but stopped and stared at us. Cain came walking in and hugging Mona, "Oh..... Had a fun..... Night?" Cain asked. "Shut up! Why are you even here?" Lucifer yelled at them in an annoyed tone. "This demon over here was sexually harassing me," Mona stated as he crossed his arms.

Cain shook his head and dragged him away, "Sorry for.... disturbing your.....alone time," Cain said. Me and Lucifer just fell back asleep, cuddling together.

*Mona's POV*

Damn bastard! He's been pulling me around all day, dragging me to meetings, seeing souls, sight seeing at the garden. He dragged me to the throne room where his parents were absent from, he had to take over for a while since his parents were away, he had a throne beside his father and he forced me to sit on his lap as he attended to the souls.

I leaned my head on his chest as he softly caressed my hair, it was nice but no way am I ever admitting that. He was pretty scary when he became serious, the last soul that came was pretty stubborn.

"So you will--" Cain said but was interrupted by the soul screaming at him as guards held him back. I could feel Cain getting irritated, the soul kept yelling about how he wouldn't accept his fate and he wasn't suppose to be here. Honestly my ears were about to burst, I groaned in annoyance and covered my ears in a poor attempt to protect myself from the horrible screams.

"I BET THE ONE SITTING ON YOUR LAP IS A SLUT!" the soul yelled out. I was shocked and honestly hurt...I was used to my parents insulting me but not others, honestly it was pathetic. My mood instantly dropped and I buried my head deeper into his chest, Cain probably snapped at that point.

He gently sets me down on the throne as he strode down towards the soul, I could see the fear in his eyes. Cain grabbed the soul, who was much shorter than Cain, and....

CRACK!

A horrifying crack was heard across the room, the guards feared for their lives. Cain just broke his arm, he screamed out in pain as Cain broke his another arm, then his legs, ribs, feet, fingers and so much more. I had to close my eyes to not hurt myself from watching his bones break, I could almost feel the pain he felt.

"I was almost... about to give you a chance..... But....I will silence you.....because you pissed me off," Cain said dangerously. "Demons of the Silence... Silence this soul's foul mouth.....quiet his ego and sew his mouth," Cain said demnadingly.

He begged Cain not to but it was too late for that, I saw stitches ripping their way out of his face and sewing themself together as the soul screamed in pain. His face was forced into an unnaturally creepy grin that could scare anyone. I was so horrified I couldn't watch anymore, despite how I act I'm horrified of a lot of things.

Cain ordered the guards to throw him out as he slowly walked towards me, I was holding onto my knees for dear life and shivering. Cain picked me up and sets me on his lap as he sat down on his throne. He caressed my hair gently, "Sorry..... You had to witness... that Monama," Cain said monotonely but you could hear the gentleness in his voice.

I nodded my head as a sign that I'm fine, Cain lifted my face up with his finger and kissed me deeply, I instinctively wrap my arms around his neck as he entangled his hand in my hair to keep me steady.

We parted our lips and breathed heavily, I give him a scowl and buried my head into his chest, inside I really did enjoy it. I felt a pair of eyes glaring daggers at me from somewhere, I looked around and saw nothing, I dismissed it but the uneasy feeling never left.

*Micheal's POV*

I kept thinking about what I forgot, I kept thinking over and over again, my face was tense as I sat on the bed in a starfish position. I didn't even hear the water stop running and Lucifer coming out, I felt a slight weight shift at the side of the bed and knew it was Lucifer.

He kissed me on the forehead and asked "What's going inside that head of yours?" I smile at him and said "I feel like I'm forgetting something."

Lucifer's face changed and I thought I saw a light bulb above his head. He smiled and said "You forgot to go to Earth."
