No Reservation

As the sun started to set over the city, plenty of people from the gate towns began their trek back home.

One young man was doing the opposite. At the far end of Boarril, Kriff exited the Fire Rose Pub with baskets of food in his spatial ring. He closed the door behind him and cast his eyes to the construction site at the town wall.

But something unexpected caught his gaze.

"Kriff!" a man shouted and waved, pulling a woman alongside him. "I take it that Bil's back. Right?"

"That's right. Were you looking to hire him for another ruin run?"

Bolton nodded. "Something like that. Do you think he'd mind if we stopped by?"

Kriff smiled and dashed away. "Go on ahead. Maybe I'll see you again when I return."

As Bolton watched the young man run off, his wife tugged him to the door. "Mmm… Something smells wonderful."

"Leena, I'm not sure if we'll be able to order anything. We're just popping in to chat and to introduce you."
