Corrupting Feast

Now, I'm gonna be honest, I'm not sure if the Novel hit the 10k mark by the end of the weekend or not, I was kinda busy. But just to be extra sure, if it hits 13k by tonight, I will drop 12 consecutive chapters tomorrow. 

Right now, it'll be this chapter and the next one.]

(Third Person POV)

Alok, who was bleeding out, looked up in horror as the colossal battle god he had summoned was so easily blown up to oblivion. 

The top of Ikusa-Tsunagi's body was completely obliterated, smoke and flames merely erupting. 

"I-Impossible..." Alok said

"I'm disappointed." Hades said as he looked up at the massive being, "Alok, was this your plan all along? What a foolish man...." 

Silver smirked, "Oh well..." He said, "Let's make the best of the situation!!!" 

He then teleported away. 

Jellal widened his eyes, "What?" He said

He was then hit by a massive shockwave that sent him reeling back. Hades had his arm pointed at him while he released an aura. 

"As for you." He said, "Boy, you think you can stand in our way?" 

Jellal glared at him, "What are you up to?!" He growled

"Hey." Jason told Jellal, "Look at that idiot, what's he doing?" 

He was referring to Silver who was high in the air, in front of the staggering battle-god that slowly stumbled. 

Silver raised the Calamitous Edge and pointed it at it as he reared it back, engulfed in a dark and misty aura. 

Hades narrowed his eye, "He's taking that thing instead?" He said, "That man...." 

Alok attempted to get to his knees as he looked up at Silver, "N-No!!" He said, "H-How dare you, you impudent man!!" 

Jason walked over to him, summoning a desert eagle in his hand. 

"Shut the fuck up." Jason said as he aimed at Alok's head, "You fucking lunatic." 

He then pulled the trigger, firing a shot at Alok's head, killing him. 

Hades saw this, "Hm..." He said, "As ruthless as ever..." 

Jason then looked up, "So...he's going to take that thing to fuel the halberd... "

Silver plunged the halberd at Ikusa-Tsunagi's body and in an instant, spread the corruption of Eclipsed Darkness all throughout what remained it. 

"Corrupted Feast" 

Then, in an instant, the entirety of the colossal battle god's body was sucked into the halberd as the skies above Silver began to turn dark, signaling the Eclipsed Darkness corruption. 

"It seems that that'll do..." Hades said

Jellal looked up at this with a scowl, "No!" He growled, "He fueled the halberd!!" 

In the air, Silver looked down at them as he gave them a wicked smirk. 

He then grabbed the halberd with both hands as he reared it back, charging up an immense amount of dark magic power. Jason felt that there was too much of an obscene amount of corrupted darkness being charged up. 

"Tch..." He muttered

"Jason!!" He heard a voice call out

He turned to see Igora run up to him as her clothes were tattered. 

"Igora?" He said

She had a panicked look on her face, "He's about to do the same thing he did to my island!!!" She said, "We can't let him!!!" 

Jason nodded, "Felicity." He said

"Yes." Felicity said

"Adjust slightly to the left." Jason said as he looked up at Silver and raised his arms and pointed it at him, "I'll keep him there." 

"Yessir." Felicity replied, "Adjusting.....target is in sight..." 

"Airspace" 

Silver then frowned as he felt his entire body frozen, unable to move or continue charging up more magic power. 

Hades also noticed this and attempted to swing his arm at Jason but was punched in the chest by Jellal which sent him reeling back. 

"I won't let you." Jellal said seriously

"Boy.." Hades said as he gave him a serious glare, "You'll regret showing your mug here..." 

Igora then rushed past Jason and Jellal, lunging at Hades and swinging her club at him who raised his arm to block the attack, causing a massive shockwave. 

"Hmm!!" Hades said buckling

"Listen here....boy!!" Igora said with a glare of her own, "The one who'll do the regretting here is you!!!" 

As this happened, Jason looked up at Silver who was struggling to move or do anything. But Jason had activated his Airspace spell. Anything up in the air is under his control and will be unable to do anything if Jason doesn't allow it. 

"Sir..."  Felicity said, "Firepower?" 

"5% more of our cannons. And add a bit more of an oomph." Jason said

"Roger. Pointing 5% more of our cannons at the target...." Felicity said, "Adjusting firepower.....adding napalm rounds...three railgun payloads.....four anti-gravity shells...ready to fire, sir." 

"Fire" 

Suddenly, Silver was hit by a massive barrage of artillery fired from a distance, causing a massive explosion that parted the rain clouds and darkness in the sky. The shockwave caused by this explosion shook the entirety of the town below, shattering several windows. 

Jellal looked up as he dodge several magic bullets fired at him by Hades, "What the...." He said

Jason looked as a smoking object fell to the ground. 

He was then hit by an invisible attack, his body receiving a nasty and massive cut that exploded blood outwards. 

He widened his eyes, "What the hell?!?"

Silver landed in front of him, his body charred and smoking. He then straightened up and gave Jason a smirk. 

"Hehe!" He said, "You think I wouldn't add a bit of protection? You're stupider than I thought, Jason!!" 

Jason clutched his wound, "Silver..." He growled as he glared at him, "I'll make sure you won't hurt anyone.." 

Silver pointed his halberd at him, "I'll cut you down right here, right now, Jason." He said with a smirk, "Then after, I'll seal the souls of these townspeople to fuel my Calamitous Edge." 

Jason sighed, "You're the stupid one, Silver." He said

Silver frowned, "Huh?" 

Jason's wound closed up with ease and Silver was a bit surprised by this. 

"I used my halberd...." He said, "How is it healing up so easily?" 

Jason then appeared in front of him with tremendous speed, aiming his desert eagle right in Silver's face. 

"Fucker." Jason growled as he pulled the trigger

He shot a round straight through Silver's left eye and blood spewed out. 

"Wha?!?!" Silver exclaimed as he was staggered by this

Jason then punched the halberd away as he stomped his feet to the ground. 

"Even with such a weapon..." Jason said, "You're no match for me." 

He clapped his hands together, releasing a massive amount of Curse Power. 

"Cursed Domain: Bloodied Field of The Primordial Battle."
