Apology To Kagura

(Jason's POV)

I sat in a chair, looking down at the ground. I couldn't help but shake in pure anger. I looked at my hands, despite being washed off, I could still feel the blood.

We had arrived at Magnolia to discuss the next move. With my actions, Grimoire Heart was sure to retaliate. I was in the Fairy Tail guildhall, sitting down without speaking to anyone.

I sensed someone walking up to me.

"Jason." I heard a voice say

I looked up to see Erza looking at me with a serious face. I didn't answer, just looked at her quietly.

"We need to talk." She said

I looked back down, "Then talk."

"Why'd you do it?" She asked

"Do what?" I said

"You know." She replied

"Lately, I've done a lot of things." I told her, "You're gonna have to be more specific."

"You almost killed him." She said, "If anything, he's in a coma."

"He can rot in hell for all I care." I told her

"You will not take a life in the name of Fairy Tail, Jason." She said seriously

I stood up from the chair and gave her a serious look.

"You think I did it for you?" I growled, "You think I'm fighting for Fairy Tail? That son of a bitch did something unthinkable, he deserves to suffer."

"That still doesn't justify-" She started

"Kagura and I aren't together, I know that." I cut her off, "But it was still my child, regardless if it was barely conceived. I won't let you or anyone tell me what to fucking feel. If you got a problem with me doing things the way I do them, well that's too fucking bad."

I turned around and walked away.

"Where are you going?" She asked

"Fuck off." I spat

I stood next to the door, looking up at the sky. I was at the motel where Kagura was staying, outside her door. Lucy had told me she was going to return to Mermaid Heel today. I wanted to speak to her before she did.

The door opened and Kagura walked out.

"Jason?" She said with surprise

I looked at her, she was wearing her usual outfit. She had her sword in her hand.

"Hey." I said

"What're you doing here?" She asked

"Can we talk?" I asked

She nodded, "Sure."

A couple of minutes later, we were sitting on a bench next to the street.

Kagura looked at me, "I..." She said, "I heard what happened."

I nodded, "Yea."

"You didn't have to..." She softly said, "I don't want people to be hurt because of what happened to me."

I looked at her, "I know." I said, "I'm...."

I looked away, not knowing what to tell her. I didn't know what to say at all. I had all these emotions that were clouding my head. These thoughts were so loud, it was overwhelming. There was a lot of stuff going on with me and I had no idea how to handle it.

I sighed, "Kagura.." I said, "I know we don't know each other that well...and I know what we did was foolish....but.."

She looked at me, "Yea?"

"I'm sorry." I said looking down, "If I just....if I just refused, maybe this wouldn't have happened."

She didn't say anything. There was a slight moment of silence between us. I didn't know what else to say.

"Jason." She finally said

I looked at her, she had a sad look on her eyes.

"I still don't know how to take all of this in...." She said, "It...it all happened so fast..."

I nodded, "I know, it's my fault." I said, "I...then I'm still doing what I do...I know we're not together, but sleeping with other women, I feel like it's an insult to you, based on what happened. I.."

"Stop." She said

I looked at her, she gave me a slight smile.

"You're a grown adult." She said, "Whatever you do, it is completely your choice. I won't take that away from you. And our time together....I really liked it. We're not together, it's okay if you want to be with other women. I'm not going to stop you. But.....I need time to myself. After what happened, I owe it to myself..."

I nodded, "I understand." I said, "I..."

She patted my shoulder, "Goodbye, Jason." She said, "Hopefully we can see each other again."

She then walked away.

I could only watch as she left. I didn't say anything else. I wanted to say more. There was a lot more stuff on my mind. My dreams, the whole thing with Kyoka and Seilah, now Kagura's miscarriage. There was something I am just realizing and I didn't like it.

There was a rage inside of me.

I didn't know that it was always there. It feels like it has just awoken from its slumber.

It is terrifying.

(3 Weeks Later....)

I was sitting under a tree, looking up at the sky. It was a nice and chilly afternoon, there were lots of clouds and the weather was pretty tame compared to last week when it rained a lot.

The cool breeze was hitting me in the face, it was nice.

I sighed, "Man." I said, "It's been a while since I've had any sex, huh..."

I was still at Magnolia, just outside the city. I didn't do much but just occasionally go with Gray and Natsu to some jobs.

I was being treated as a freelance mage, despite not being officially in the guild. They both went for me at my room. I didn't go to the guildhall because I didn't want to see the others.

I spent the last week doing a bit of training just outside the city by myself.

Now, I was just relaxing under this tree.

Gray has told me that they'll soon ask me to join them to go to Lamia Scale for some sort of join event. I was wondering why they kept asking me to tag along with them. I wasn't in their guild.

Maybe Lucy spoke to the others and put me in a better light. I did help them multiple times.

There has been no word of Grimoire Heart so far.

I suppose that was good.

I had calmed down a bit after the incident. Which was good. I didn't want to always be in a good mood.

I then felt a presence approach me.

"Oho?" I heard a voice say

I turned to see Evergreen, the female member of the Thunder God Tribe, walk up to me. She was alone from the looks of it.

She had her hand fan on and was waving it at her face. I don't see why she should do this if the weather was chilly.

"So you're here.." She said

I raised an eyebrow, "Can I help you?"

She chuckled, "I hope you can." She said, "I got a job for you."

I looked away, "I only tag along with Gray and Natsu." I said, "I don't mean to be rude."

"Fufu." She said, "Not that type of job."

I looked at her.

She lowered the top of her dress to reveal her breasts.

"It's been a suitable amount of time, don't ya think?" She said smiling,

"Why don't we fuck?"
