Sighing at his demeanor, "There you go." He hummed.

"What the hell exactly happened?" She asked worriedly, glancing over the door at Rayan, the tension on her face was clear but Zain didn't know how to react. "

"Nothing. I gotta go now." Zain shook his head and was about to leave. "So early?"

"Yeah, you just take care of yourself." He smiled, patting her head.

"Okay." Zain was about to leave but stopped, he knew it was a distant memory and if she wanted she would have told him long ago yet he wants to know.

"Isra."

"Hmm?"

"Did something happen between you and Rayan?" He asked before leaving.

"No." She replied innocently but her heart began to thump loudly, tensed if Rayan had told him anything or not.

"From the past?" He asked sternly. Her hands turned cold.

Did Rayan tell him? She thought apprehensively but smiled nervously and shook her head as no again.

"Is there something?" She asked. "Rayan told me he liked you back in college." He told her coldly.
