Chapter 4: The Empty Throne

Markus was training with his sword in an empty white room with Agent Q and Marwin watching.

"Yeah, and Gilbert the bitch scold us" Marwin said

"Sir, I don't know why we're talking about your political affairs, we should be focusing on Markus' development" Agent Q said

"Cold, well that's how you're supposed to given the fact that you're a artif.." Marwin said before he was interrupted by Agent Q

"Markus' swords skills is decent, but he still hasn't made any progress when it comes to using his authority" Agent Q said

Marwin looked at Markus, his eyes changed to his Titan Mode

"I can see the Aura flowing in him, but he's like a locked chest with a lot of treasure, we just need to unlock him" Marwin said

"Well sir the other agents tried to show him how they use their authority to no avail, he just got excited and more willing to train, we also tried the bleeding edge method but we just ended up injuring him" Agent Q explained.

"When I first use used my authority It was when I felt the sensation of being hit by a authority enhanced attack by an enemy maybe if he felt that he can activate his" Marwin said

"What are you thinking Sir?" Agent Q aske but before she can follow up her Question Marwin Charged at Markus with his Titan mode at 30%

Note: When Marwin fought the Armade he was just using 10% of his power

Markus sensed Marwin charging at him with the intent to kill Markus' senses was dialed to ten everything seemed slow to him, he is shocked yet ready to take the blow, Markus sword skills kicked in as he remembered his training with Curl, Marwin was using the same kind of attack although more powerful Markus raise his sword to block but at the last split second Marwin changed the direction of his attack but Markus was able to change the position of his blade to preventing Marwin's blade to go through him, his eyes Changing color to Crimson red.

"Woah! Not Bad kid" Marwin said, surprised as he didn't expect Markus to block at all, Markus looked at Marwin's blade and he noticed the sharp edge was on the opposite side, which means Marwin was not really intending to kill him.

"No, It's just that I'm used to seeing that attack" Markus said

"Oh? you mean you saw Curl use that attack?" Marwin asked

"Yes, I used to seeing it every time we spar" Markus said

"Anyway, Remember that sensation" Marwin said

But Markus couldn't focus, his senses are everywhere, he can see things that aren't there and can hear things that aren't there.

"I don't feel so goo.." Markus said as he pass out from having large amount of aura leaks from his body.

"Oh shit, Q! are there any agents here that has cancelling Authority?! shit he passed out but his body keeps emitting Aura!" Marwin shouted, panicking Agent Q was set a back because Marwin's reaction seemed weird because Marwin is usually calm.

as Marwin tried to contain the Aura from leaking, but to no avail since he has no affinity to cancelling Authority.

A woman dressed in tight black suit run towards them Kicking Marwin Away which knock him to a wall cracking the wall.

"The fuck are you thinking you stupid shit?" The Woman said as she cancel's Markus Aura.

"Mistress, welcome back" Agent Q said as she bows her head.

A few moments later.

Noah, Marwin and the Girl who saved Markus was in a room, with Markus awake but weaken.

"What the fuck were you thinking?!" The woman said

"Erica, please calm down, please the Kid is watching" Noah said

"Sorry" Marwin said as he rub the bruise in his face because after she saved Markus she continued on beating up Marwin.

Markus surprised upon seeing the feared and pseudo leader of the Knights beated up asked a question.

"Uhm, what happened?" Markus asked

"Well, you almost died, because some idiot decided to force Aura to flow into your body without proper training, since you haven't learn how to use Authority yet, if you ran out of Aura it will start to use your life force too" The woman said.

"But you're okay now, thanks to Erica, anyway let me introduce you to her, this is Erica, Marwin's sister and your Brother's Authority training teacher, she is the person incharge of training the Agents here she's the highest level agent we have here" Noah said

"Oh, thank you ma'am!" Markus said

"Oh, what a kind kid, you kinda remind me of Curl, Bro? do that again and I'll kill you" She said as she threated Marwin who is visibly scared

"Hehe, pusy" Noah teased Marwin

"Fuck you" Marwin whispered

"Hah? what's that? you said something brother?" Erica asked as he look at Marwin with a dread look

"Nah, I said I'm sorry I'm not gonna do it again" Marwin said

"What Marwin did is he forced you to use your Authority, which in terms forced you to emit Aura, since you don't know how to isolate Aura around your body yet it keeps on leaking, Thank God Erica arrived, her authority cancels all kind of Authority in a short amount of time" Noah said

"wow! that's pretty cool" Markus said

"Yeah it's useful but not as strong as Noah or Marwin which uses it in a wrong way roght brother? try that shit again and I'll fucking snap your neck" Erica said

"She's scary" Markus thought in his head.

"Anyway I'm here because the Senshi Village has been attacked, Shiroi sensei? he's... de's dying" Erica said

The room's temperature plummets, the room felt cold, Marwin expression blanks, Noah face turned from kind look to a scary frown.

Marwin stood up without saying anything, Markus looked at Marwin, he saw Marwin's Aura leaking from his body, emitting red and blue aura which blends into a dark colored one.

Markus seemed surprised but he couldn't speak because Marwin's aura scared him.

Erica looked at Markus and saw his Eyes in his Titan form.

"I'm sorry you have to see that, I know you're new to it but that's his Aura, or rather his AUra when he's in rage" Erica said.

Erica and Noah walked away towing Markus away with them. Marwin was long gone.

"He took his jet" Noah said.

"I can't reach Joshua he might be doing something really important Right now" Erica said

The three of them boarded a ship with 20 agents in tow.

Markus was sitting in the control deck of the ship wondering if he should ask about it., Erica looked at him, she knew what Markus wasn't to say.

"Shiroi is the Knight's Mentor, back in the days when they started doing this, they knew nothing, they fight like barbarians, no plan, no real skills but upon helping to save Senshi Village, Shiroi took all seven of the Knights and taught them how to be real warriors and how to be a real hero, Marwin's sacred sword came from there, his katana is called the twin blade katana, there is where the other half of that katana lies" Erica explained.

Meanwhile..

Marwin was sitting in the pilot seat of the jet, his eyes closed, the jet being piloted by an AI.

"Sir, your heartbeat is over the normal level, are you okay?, diagnosing, you might be suffering from mild anxiety" the AI said

"It's normal" Marwin said as he continued sitting having a thought about the past he had with Shiroi.

29 years ago

Marwin and Leonel was fighting together against Shiroi, every of their attacks are being blocked and repelled by Shiroi, this is a year after the Titan Knights have been form.

"A blind rage is nothing but childish fighting style" Shiroi said as he easily overpower the two Titan.

Joshua, Noah, Amerie, Reian and Margarette watches in awe.

"Damn, Shiroi san is no Joke" Joshua said

"Well, at first I'm sceptical when he said he's gonna teach us the proper ways to use out powers, but now? damn I think he's even more powerful than us, I just didn't know there are people out there who can use Authorities without blessings from the Excalibur" Joshua sain

while Noah just muttered, "Hmm" as he shows agreement to what Joshua said.

"The greatest power comes from the will to fight for the right reasons, your hearts are in the right place but you're not using it efficiently" Shiroi said as Marwin look at him smiling, looking content to the fight he's in.

Meanwhile....

Markus, Noah and Erica was walking in a long hallway leading to a room Noah called the Throne room.

"Markus, we're going to force your mind to have the skills of a titan by using the Excalibrum, it's a machine designed by Marwin, it has only been used once and it lead to Marwin almost dying but don't worry that happened 20 years ago, this machine has since been calibrated to only operate at 20% capacity, we will feed your mind the skills of the 20 years old Marwin since he is the strongest titan back then, it will be confusing at first but you're not a normal human, you've been enhanced both physically and psychologically by the essence of King Arthur's soul" Noah said

as they entered the throne room, Noah then pushed a button in the console and a platform rose from the ground revealing a pod.

"Lay down, if your Aura leaks I will stop it, Noah will use his Authority to stabilize your mind" Erica said.

Markus laid down the pod.

Japan, present day.

Marwin's jet slowly descends into a rural town, people of the town was happy to see the jet as they recognize him from see through glass of the jet.

Everyone puts their hands together as if they are praising him.

"Kazumi-sama is here!" an old lady said.

The town is in a state of destruction, houses burned down, people mourning all around the town.

Everyone welcomed Marwin, the police officers welcomed him as they lower their head, bowing to him, this is one of the hero, that once saved this town.

Marwin's face was emotionless as he ask an old lady in japanese.

"Where's Shiroi-Sensei" He said.

Marwin was walking towards a shrine, in his full titan knight armor.

As he enter the shrine, the first thing he saw is the other half of his twin katana in the middle of the room and Shiroi, laying on a matress.

Shiroi opened his eyes, as he can feel Marwin's aura.

"Kazumi-chan" He said as Shiroi gives of a smile.

Marwin kneeled infront of Shiroi as he said in distant voice "I'm sorry"

"It's not your fault" Shiroi said as he look at Marwin, he saw his aura darkening.

"Do not let your rage decide for yourself, I thought you that, you knew what that can cause" Shiroi said

The room fell into deaf silence.

"How's the kid?" Shiroi asked

Confused at first, Marwin realized that Shiroi was talking about Markus, though he never told him about Markus, he figured that Shiroi would know since he also has a faint connection to the Avalon's will through natural means.

"He's..a good kid, he's been raised by Curl, and you know that kid, he still doubts himself though, I don't know if he's a kind person yet because I havent seen him in action yet, but the avalon's will chose him for a reason and I think I can trust that" Marwins said

Shiroi held Marwin's hands, as he cough.

"I don't have much time, I have to tell you this now, the first time I met all of you, I knew who you were, I knew what you will become, I know the hero you will be, I saw it, I saw everything up to the point where you retire" Shiroi said

"What do you mean sensei?" Marwin said, confused to what Shiroi said

"I can see the future, though it's not clear, Markus is closer to you than you think, to prevent the events from changing, I can't disclose some information, but you have to teach the kid the ropes, you're the most Qualified person to do so, Markus is the future of Humanity now, you were that person once, but your era have come and passed, now you have to light the torch or those that came after, Kazumi? I've always believed in you, I've been saddened by Reian's and Leonel's passing, but believe me, it's been written, it's for a reason, I'm sorry I can only tell you so much, but you will someday understand who Markus is to you and who Markus is to the world" Shiroi said as he slowly closed his eyes.

Marwin held his Master's hands

"Being the mentor of the 7 heroes is an honor, and being able to be the person to lay the path for you is a much bigger Honor, Kazumi-san? please tell the others I loved them so much as how a father would to his children, Markus isn't ready yet, for now you need to take the empty throne" Shiroi said as he permanently close his eyes and his body aged to his actual age.

Shiroi has been alive for the last 200 years, he used dark Aura to prolong his life to wait the arrival of Leonel and his Knights.

Marwin cried as he saw his Master pass away.
