Chapter 19: Laguna

One hour Earlier.

Noah was resting while watching a show when it was cuttoff suddenly by a breaking news.

Breaking News! Laguna is Currently under attack for the last 40 mins, but some unknown terrorist group claiming to be a supporter of the Mistenial Empire, they were armed heavily with powerful weapons, Wait! point the camera there! as you can see someone was trying to fight some of the terrorist, is that a solder? "No!" oh my god, She's using a sword! is that a Titan? a new Titan? it has only been a few months after the attack at Japan's UNAF base, and there's sources that claimed they saw the Cold Titan and the Emerald princess fighting together with two young adults who seems to have the same abilities as the Titans, is this one of those Titans?

Noah called for an emergency and as he walked down the halls to the Combat bay where the agents are, Marwin, Margarette and Tako walked with him.

As they were walking......

"The Squads are ready Director" Tako said

"Well, that's good, we'll be going there asap" Noah said

I don't know who this masked person is but for as long as Marwin trusts him I shall as well plus he has shown good leadership and exceptional combat prowess so I have nothing to qualm about it.

"The report said, There's around a thousand Terrorist armed with what seems to be mistenial tech, and they have droids with them" Margarette said

"I will be with the new kids, we'll be going there Right now, I'll be taking commands from the ship once we're there" Marwin said

"Take care Marwin, you know we need that brain of yours so no fighting for now, if you think the kids are ready then do so but with care, we can't afford to lose Markus or anyone else" Noah said

"Have anyone heard from Joshua?" Noah asked

"No he's been busy with Amerie about the Japan incident doubt they'll be coming" Margarette said

"Okay then, Marwin take the Koi go to Warp speed to Laguna, Tako take a ship and your squad to the area and do all what you can to protect the civillians, Margarette and I will follow you, we'll prepare a way for civillians to be rescued, Tako find out what's the terrorist's goals are" Noah said

"Copy that sir" Tako said

Marwin looked at him and thought "still a soldier huh?"

Tako looked at him and nodded.

Marwin looked back at him and nodded as well.

Marwin and the three young Titans boarded the Koi.

"Okay Titans, this will be your first official introduction to the Public, make sure to make a good impression, as difficult as it is we need the public to accept that you are the new titans that the old Titans are no more, so that the would would think that they need to keep the peace because you are there" Marwin said

"I was meaning to ask that, since we're the new Titans, just like you what's the importance of us being seen by the public?" Riafe said

"Well the main reason is that, we are the image of peace and justice and because of our existence the world has kept it's peace, there are virtually zero crime happening aside from terrorists and other stuff but low level crime has since became zero" Marwin answered

"Well, wasn't it because of the incident in the North Korea? the way you dismantled North Korea and united the Korean Peninsula, and it gave way to the central government right?" Markus said

"if that's what you want to believe as to what has happened back then, well yeah" Marwin said

As the young titans are equipping their Armors, Marwin walked up to them.

"Okay you have two objective in this mission, 1 defeat the terrorist and 2 find out who the vigilante with the sword is, I can see that he is either an esper or a common authority user he might prove useful to us, and know what his motivation is" Marwin said

The Koi arrived in the city being attacked, the city of los banos,

it's been a while since the last time I've been here, I lived half of my life here and this is the place where Curl died a few months ago, is Markus okay being back in here?

"I've learned recently that Curl has been assigned to protect this area, and there has been multiple attacks over the years we were here, so without him keeping guard the Terrorists which claimed to be a follower of the empire are now trying to take control of Laguna, why laguna tho?" Markus said

"because Laguna is a sacred place, it said that Maria Makiling was one of the Pure blood titans who lived here in the Philippines and her death covered the area with dense and renewable Aura, it seems like the Cities around the Mt. Makiling is being protected by the mountain, or rather Maria Makiling herself" Marwin said

"Really? is that true tho?" Amy asked

"Well, from the research we did many years ago, the entire laguna is covered in Aura, and mt. makiling is a lot of aura, that's why when we fought Dratos here he almost died because the kind of Aura being emitted in this province can only be absorbed by the Titans like us, and not just that, the history of the world is filled with Titans, some of them are even told to be seen as Gods by the people, like the Paraohs and Kings, that's for sure, since I tried to figure out where our power came from and that's also when I discovered the Will of Avalon and was able to directly talk to King Arthur" Marwin explained

a few moments has passed The Koi ship and the Ship Tako and his squad is using arrived at the scene.

"Okay Titans, remember your objectives, Markus, find the vigilante and take him in, Amy and Riafe, protect the civilians, help them evacuate the City of Los banos, Tako and the fire team fight off the enemies and find out their motivation, if possible capture the leader alive" Marwin said

"Got it" Tako said

"Okie!" Amy said

"I got it" Markus said

"Will do sir" Riafe said

"since the event that have transpired in Japan and in the Citadel, I will be taking the place of your commander, in most of our mission, thought I am the commander you shouldn't forget that most decisions are yours to make, as hard or as weird as it seems, you are nothing less than a soldier, your job is to keep everybody safe, and most importantly to keep yourself because the well being of the people rest upon your shoulder, you are chosen because of your humanity and it's your humanity that makes you whop you are and it's what makes you a Titan" Marwin said

Tako and his squad started to fight off the Terrorist, Tako was given a new Katana as he cannot use his Twin blade in able to hide his true identity he was also told to not use any authority that would give away his true identity.

Amy and Riafe flew towards the civilians in the city defending and helping them evacuate in using the evacuation ships the Titan Inc, provided.

Markus was flying using his new suit all around the city looking for the Vigilante. and in the municipal hall of Los Banos he found him, Markus took a minute to watch him fight.

"Woah, it looks like he knows his stuff Marwin" Markus said

"Is he using Authority?" Marwin asked

"Well, idk for sure, but I think he's using a common enhancement authority" Markus said

"What age do you think he is?" Marwin asked

"base on his body build, his height and his physical appreance, around the same age as us" Markus said

Markus then joined the Vigilante fight.

Markus took out the Protoburn and started fighting with the Vigilante.

The vigilante looks at him.

"Woah! where have you came from? who are you?" The guys said

"I'm Arthur" Markus said

The guy looks at him, and sees his armor ressembing the Armor of Lord Arthur.

"Are you serious? isn't Lord Arthur a bit old? you look like you're in your 20's" The guy said

"Well, first of all, I am not that Arthur, I am a new Lord Arthur, and Titans age really slow too" Markus said

"oh, but seriously? you're the new Lord Arthur?" The guy said

"Well, yeah" Markus said as he pointed at the sword on his back

"HOOOOLY SHIT! THAT'S the CALIBURN!!!" The guy said

"Woah, you really know your stuff, so why are you doing this?" Markus asked while they continue fighting off the enemies.

"Well, I'm...I'm Jaysen, about a few months ago I had this dream of me using sword and I suddenly felt something in my body, like a power of some sort then I started being able to use some kind of power, so I trained with it and with sword, soooo yeah, when I heard the attack I rushed in here and suddenly I was fighting and it felt natural" jaysen said

"I heard enough, Markus take him in, he's a reciever" Marwin said

"what? what's that?" Markus asked

"a Titan candidate, your knights can be hand chosen by you, or sometime the sword chooses someone for you, a receiver gets his/her power way before he is blessed, and that person has the chance to be blessed and be a full blessed titan, I was a receiver, I was able to use Absolute Authority way before I was blessed" Marwin said

while everyone is doing their best to contain the situation, the municipal hall exploded which surprised Markus, he was blown away by the blast and so is Jaysen.

"Arthur! Arthur! are you okay?!" Marwin shouted.

"He's okay, just unconscious" Jaysen answered the earpiece Markus was wearing

"is this the Vigilante?" Marwin asked

"Well, uhm yeah?" Jaysen answered

That bomb was able to effect Markus, it might not be a normal bomb after all, maybe this terrorists are a part or an ally to the Mistenial Empire.

"Can you see the gen in the middle of Arthur's chest? touch it for me" Marwin said

Jaysen touched the gem which created an effect.

"Vitals all good, starting the manual reset" The armor said.

Markus then woke up after the reset.

"HOOOLY FUCK WHAT WAS THAT?" Markus said

"Calm down Arthur, the suit also has a lot of medicine in it, to keep you alive, it just injected a small dose of medicine to wake you up" Marwin said

"Wow! this suit is really something" Markus said

"it seems that the terrorist are using weapons that are mistenial in origin it was able to affect you, normal human weapons couldn't do that to a Titan, especially you who is the Lord Arthur and is wearing an anti Authority armor, it was designed after my sister's ability to cancel Aura from flowing" Marwin said

"uhm, what're we going to do?" Jaysen asked.

"Yeah, what are we supposed to do now Marwin" Markus asked

Marwin slowly descended the ship and opened it's hatch.

"Hey kid, you board the ship, Markus meet Tako this might be more serious that it seems, it will take atleast an hour before the Titan inc and the UNAF arrive in this place" Marwin said

I lied about him being a receiver, his aura isn't the same as a receiver, it's kinda like Reian, before we altered her DNA.

"So kid, talk, who are you really?" Marwin said as he slowly rotates his seat towards Jaysen, Marwin was in his full suit and his Titan mode, Jaysen saw this.

"oh my god! you're the Cold Titan!" Jaysen shouted

"Answer the question kid" Marwin asked again

"woah, well I'm..uhm I am Jaysen Oranya" Jaysen said

"oh, Oranya, you're probably Dr. Raygen Oranya's kid?" Marwin asked

"you know my mom?" Jaysen asked

"We had history, there's a pod in there get in, you've been leaking your aura for a while now that pod I designed it to stop a person's aura from leaking out, I designed it after your new found friend there accidentally almost killed himself a few months back" Marwin said

Jaysen just look at him dumbfounded

"you mean if you didn't come by I would've been dead?" Jaysen asked

"Yeah yeah just get inside the pod will you?" Marwin said as he continued to drive

Marwin then looked at the situation and started looking for a solution,

He opened the communication tab and started calling for Agent Q

"Q, send in a medical team, and tell Erica to prepare, I have a kid, he said he's Raygen's kid, he's the vigilante, he's been leaking aura, test his DNA for any irregularities I can feel something fishy about this kid's origin" Marwin said

"Marwin the enemies are heading towards something, I figured it might be the Los Banos Power Reactor, it's in the Jamboree, in the foot of Mt. Makiling, I think they're planning to destroy it" Tako reports

"Fuck! you really are me, do what ever you can to prevent them from doing that! it's the first generation Avenium reactor unlike the other reactor in the World that reactor plan is old, it does not have the same safety systems the others have" Marwin said

"Wow you know a lot about this thing" Tako said

"Oh, that's surprising, that's because I was the one who developed it in this world" Marwin said

"Oh, is that the Leo 1?" Tako said

"Oh you know about it then" Marwin said

"Well, I developed one but not in Los Banos it was built on umahon" Tako said

"Oh, that's interesting, anyway switch back to channel 4 explain to everyone what's going on" Marwin said

Marwin went to Markus, Raife and Amy.

"Okay guys, get in, the Titan Inc and UNAF are already on foot, any words on the civillians?" Marwin said

Marwin and the others started a meeting talking through the communication hub.

"80% are already evacuated Marwin" Noah said

"Any words on Joshua?" Marwin asked

"He's with the UNAF on ground, don't worry he's doing his job" Amerie said

"okay, here's what's gonna happen, we need to prevent the terrorist from destroying the plant, The black knight and his squad will hold the terrorist, Markus, Amy and Riafe will help Tako's squad, I will land near the reactor plant and I will personally kill the reactor I designed it so I know, after deactivating the reactor, it will no longer emit power thus destroying it will no longer harm Los Banos and the cities around it" Marwin said

"Got it Sir" Tako said

"Got it" Marwin, Amy and Riafe said

as the Koi ship was flying to the foot of Mt Makiling at the Jamboree, Markus opened the side panel which revealed the pod of where Jaysen is being kept in suspended animation.

"What? why is he inside this thing?" Markus said

"it's a pod designed to suspend aura from leaking by suspending your body in cryostasis, I made that after you nearly killed yourself from leaking out your aura, just incase" Marwin said

"You really are a hero aren't you? do you even rest sir?" Riafe said

"Rest aren't for heroes" Marwin said
