Chapter 11: A King's Responsibility

As Markus and Amy was fleeing the battlefield Noah contacted them through their communication devices.

"Markus? I need you to secure something, do you copy?" Noah said

Markus stopped and answered "Yes I copy"

"I'll send a data in your HUD, a location secure a package, I have just recently learned the reason why they attacked the UNAF J, there's a underground installation in the base, something is in there, please secure it and prevent the Mistenial Empire from getting it" Noah said

"Copy" Markus said

Markus looked at Amy and they both nodded in agreement.

Both of them ran back to the base but one of Mordred's Knight was there first and noticed Markus and Amy.

"You again? I thought you ran away like a scared little insect that you are" he said

"You wish" Amy said

"I'm not talking to you, no women shall address me directly you insolent little shit" The mistenial knight Hurden said

"Why are you here?!" Markus shouts

"None of your concern insect" Hurden said

Markus charged towards Hurded and proceeded to attack, even with limited control of his authority he was able to deliver quick blows after quick blows.

Amy noticed that the attacks Markus were delivering weren't as strong as the Titan's but it's faster, she's impressed. it was informed to her that Markus can't use full power of his King's Authority yet, a less strong but faster attack is a compromise.

"that kid, he just developed his own style of using his authority" Margarette said as he watched Markus fight.

"reminds me of someone, a person who hates losing to a fight" Noah said as he watch the fight in his monitor.

"Yeah, just like him" Amerie said

"Yeah, that bastard, kept using his powers even though it means killing himself slowly" Margarette said

Marwin was still fighting Mordred in his King's mode, Mordred could barely stood up against the full power of the knight.

"Damn you! you are nothing but a human filth!" Modred said

"I am, but you are worst, you betrayed your own father, your own people, you used your own daughter as a weapon to destroy us, and when she changed her mind and fight with us you tried to kill her, and years later successfully killed your own daughter, and that woman was my wife, the mother to my child who never even seen the world!" Marwin said as he continued attacking.

Mordred was down to his knees but Marwin continued to pound him, one attack after the other.

Margarette teleported to Marwin and closed Mordred to a forcefield.

"Wait? she can do forcefield too?" Markus said as he looked at Marwin's direction getting distracted for a moment almost getting hit by an attack.

"Focus Markus! yes! I learned it from her, though she can only use one at a time" Amy shouted

Marwin's King's Mode deactivated and he fell into his knees almost passing out.

Margarette caught Marwin and started a healing chant.

"Marwin, you okay dude?" Noah asked as he watch the fight from his ship.

"Yeah, but I'm drain, anyway what're we looking for anyway?" Marwin asid as he catch his breath and tried to stand but he failed as he felt very weak after using the King's mode.

"I don't know, what it is, but I was informed that it's a weapon created by mankind and the mistenial empire wants to use it" Noah said

Margarette Teleported inside the barried with Mordred and started hitting Mordred

"What are you looking here for?!" Margarette said

"Bitch!, a weapon your kind made, a weapon that can bring the Lord back" Mordred said

"What!!??" Noah said

Margarette punched and hit Mordred more, Mordred fell to his back.

"MARKUS! AMY! FIND THE PACKAGE NOW!" Margarette said

Mordred scoffs, "I don't get it! why struggle! We live longer than everyone else, everything you know in this world will be gone! what can you have after 300 years!" He said

"People we can protect, that's who we are, and that's what we will always be" Margarette said

"Margarette couldn't you help them find the package" Noah said

"No, I need to tend to Marwin's Injury" Margarette said

"No, I'm....OK" Marwin said as he cough blood all over.

Margarette used healing authorities to tend to Marwin;s injury after using the King's mode.

Markus fought Hurden as Amy searched for the package "Fuck what does it looks like? do you have any other intel?" Amy asked

"It should be around there" The Mistenial girl said

"Who's that?" Margarette asked

"a moment ago, someone with an insignia similar to Marwin snuck into my ship using a teleporter, the coordinate is from the one Marwin used many years ago to get home from the Mistenial capitol" Noah said

"Mistenial? wait there's a mist in there?" Margarette asked

"Yes, but it seems she has good intention, you know me, I know a good natured person when I see one" Amerie said

"Hmm, I'm still in the no here, if you can here me tell me exactly what the fuck is this weapon you are saying? and how do you know this?" Margarette asked

"Well, I'm a Royal Scribe I write every documents of every meetings all of the mid tier Knights and Guards including the ones with the higher Echelons, This weapon? I don't know what it is, but, What I know is that it's Human made, and I know they called it the 2N Project" The mistenial girl said

"2N Project? what the fuck is that?" Margarette said

"Wait? WHAT? 2N PROJECT?!!" Marwin shouts as he tried to stand up but failed

"Marwin? do you know something about this?" Noah asked

"Sure do! this project is the reason why I created the Titan Knight's Accords, to prevent anyone from using us for their own gain, this project's objective was to create weapons using our genetic sample, the 2N project was successful with 2 subjects Subject M-2N and L-2N, A clone of Marwin Papagayo and Leonel Aveno, and if what I know is right, the weapon they are talking about is Leonel's Clone, because I killed my clone 10 years ago!, do whatever the fuck you can, they can't have that clone! that clone is much more dangerous than mine and I know it is because that clone was uncontrollable, untamable!, Stop healing me and help them Margarette!" Marwin said

"What? what the fuck are you talking about?" Noah asked

"I'll explain later for now it's crucial that these guys don't get their hand to any of those clones!" Marwin yelled

Margarette Scoffs but continued to teleport around the underground area of the base.

"I found it, it has a tag on it, saying Lion-2N A" Margarette said, she teleported back and brough Amy with her.

"Shit! it's the first one, the one that can't be controlled, as far as my intel, goes, that subject has been frozen because it cannot be controlled, it destroyed the entire laboratory where it was created" Marwin explain

Margarette teleported the Large back out and Amy covered it with a force field.

"I need a pick up ship, Noah? can you do something about it? we need to take these away from here as far as possible" Margarette said

But as Margarette was talking to Noah the other mistenial leiutenant fell from the sky and started attacking the shield

"OHH SHIIIT" Amy said

"NOAH! HURRY!" Margarette said

Margarette teleported out of the forcefield and started engaging the LT.

"It's an honor to fight you, Princess of the Knights" The Mistenial LT. said

Margarette started fighting, teleporting with every hits she delivers but the Lt. can predict her every attacks.

"I've studied you, you know? specifically, you the princess, you were young then and I would like to know what age does to you? does it make you weaker? or stronger?" The Lt. said

"You know fights don't usually have a lot of words in it" Margarette said as she activates her Titan mode, transforming her eyes into a green one she quickly teleported faster than usual and delivered a hit that knock her opponent far into the field.

but before the Lt can even stand Margarette teleported in his back and knock him up into the sky sending him flying but Margarette teleported again into the sky and knock him back down, the ground shook after his fall proving the strength of the Female Titan known as the Emerald Princess the Merlin of this Era of Titan

Margarette teleported the box but a Mistenial soldier is already there, Margarette teleported near the box and put her hands on the box in attempt to teleport is with her, but the Mistenial soldier look at her and said "BYE" and teleported away.

Margarette was shocked, it was her first time seeing someone use the same skill as her.

"Noah, I just lost the package" Margarette with dreadful voice.

a few days later....

Marwin woke up, after sleeping for a few days, The mistenial empire retreated after they secured the package.

"Fuck, what happened" Marwin asked, Margarette was there with him when he woke up.

"I lost the package, someone with the same ability as mine teleported it away, that guy I never seen him before he looks much younger than the other Mistenial Officers" Margarette said

"Shit, we have to find the other new titans Asap" Marwin said

"explain first, what the fuck is that package? and how did you know it?" Margarette said

"get the others, I have to disclose something" Marwin said

A few moments later..

Marwin, Margarette, Markus, Amy, Amerie, Joshua and Noah is together in one room.

"So what was that?" Noah asked

"25 years ago, the former UNAF, hunted down the DNA of the 7 Titans and started making clones, and US came up with the possession of those DNA and started their own cloning project, the project UNAF did is called the 2N project, it's goal is to make a controllable, tameable version of us, the 7 legendary titans, the former UNAF Secretary general hates the idea of having to follow us so they created clones they could use as their weapons, when I found out about all of this, I immediately tried to stop them, but I was too late, the clones were already created, I hunted down every reseachers involve in the project and put their asses into jail, as the project is a complete breach to the Umahon Accords, our existence should never be used politically nevertheless a weapon. as what I've said, I killed most of the clones, aside from one, Leonel's clone the codenamed 2n-1A, which is the most savage and the only one that they can't control, it has no emotions or even morality, the other clones has emotions, but this one, it doesn't, he massacred the entire laboratory during his first time waking up" Marwin explained

"wait? you killed the other clones?" Margarette said

"well, not really, the other clones were imperfect, their genetic make up is so unstable that using their synthetic abilities caused their body to degrade and died that's as far as I know, as this Leonel's clone almost killed me and was able to put me in a coma for 7 months, the entire Project was buried, including all the people involved, I don't know who ended the project, but ever since I couldn't track down Leonel's Clone, all I could find is the DNA profile and I destroyed it, I don't know about the other cloning project but I won't let anyone use our powers as weapons, I will never let anyone use us for their own self gain" Marwin said

"so? why did the Mistenial Empire wants the clone? you said no one can control it right?" Noah asked

"I don't know, maybe they found a way to control him, I don't know, but whatever it is, we need to stop it, having that clone in their side is a bad news, I've already proven that we can make a copy of a sacred weapon, who knows, maybe they can create a copy of the excalibur, or maybe they have the excalibur, for now, we need to find the other new titans, time is ticking we need to move fast" Marwin said

everyone got out of the room, only Noah and Amerie stayed at the room with Marwin.

"What is it?" Marwin asked

"well, do you remember about the informant I had during the fight? well, a Mistenial defector broke in my ship using the old teleporter, and she gave us this" Noah said as he handed Marwin the insignia.

"what? how is this possible" Marwin said

"well, I was hoping you could tell me about it" Noah said

Marwin took out the insignia from his necklace, it was the exact same insignia but the other looks a bit buttered and old.

"it's legit, I can feel my soul in it, how is this possible? as far as I know only one insignia per titan can exist within the same time, what?" Marwin said
